The duck has fallen and can't get up

Ok, most uninformative subject tag aside.
My Ducky DK9087 Shine II TKL has an intermittent ESC key.
How to repair?

resolder joints on the switch prongs

or if it's a cracked trace some where on the PCB.. you have to bridge the connection


No other way to fix..


It might sound intimidating,   but GH has amble members who knows PRECISELY how to fix it.

And we can guide you through it on Skype if necessary.

It could also be due to dust in the switch, try pressing it and blowing or spraying some compressed air in to dislodge it.

What tp4 said - might be a defective switch or bad joint, or even cracked trace.  All are repairable, usually with a soldering iron.

Yea.. ok.. this almost never.. ..

 you need an extreme amount of dust in there such that the problem doesn't alleviate after several presses.
