So,  yea, the TRAILER looks awesome..

So did the trailer for BF4,

But you never, ever have THAT MUCH fun in these games because of how large the map is..



So much of the game is just running around before you even spot anyone to get a kill..


And now that DICE enforces HDR on you,,  there's Glare everywhere....   sigh................

Have you played a Battlefront game before?

The maps have always been huge, and the games have always been awesome. This is because everyone gravitates towards the control points on the map to capture them which means most of the killing happens at certain points on the map rather than spread out all over.

That's how the previous ones worked, and I have no doubt the new one will be the same.

Looked absolutely terrible to me.  I watched the trailer and it looked like Star Wars themed CoD to me.  No tactical element, no thought required, just run and gun with instant respawns on 20v20 maps and hope you to the scoreboard so you can play as a Jedi or a Sith.

The map looked tiny too, you could tell the difference between the non playable Snow and the actual map, looked really small...

I think smaller map is always better..

the Larger the map, the more running around..   I h8 running around.. it's a waste of time..  just respawn me closer..

Ha yeah, maybe, idk people got mad a month or two ago at the number of tp4 threads and when I made a thread for e3 stuff, in the proper section, tp4 posts this one anyway, and it's fine for him to do so..

Looks kinda like a reskinned BF to me.. Not a huge fan of it so far, especially with all these other good games coming out.

It does, but with CoD play mechanics.  I wouldn't mind reskinned BF if they improved on it, but it looks like they made gameplay worse and put the AT-ATs on rails.

BFBC2 wasn't that bad though...

But I did prefer BF:1942 above all else.

BFBC2 wasn't that bad though...

But I did prefer BF:1942 above all else.

BF2 was GOAT (bar the input lag that was never fixed).
But actually the console versions of BF:1943, Wake Island was really great, the other maps where mostly **** but having an airstrike on one of the points on WI would flatten all the buildings and as a sniper, in cover you where suddenly exposed which was a pretty great "oh ****" moment lol

I for one am excited about it, I spent 100's of hours as a kid on the original SW Battlefront games. F4 and this coming out in the same month, rip life
