OMG... being left handed can be frustrating as so many things just are totally backwards.

most of my watches I have owned have had butterfly clasps which kind of own because left or right handed makes no difference really...

however I just bought this Orient Champion watch on ebay and I really like it and have been enjoying it but the watch band ... BLAH wasn't sitting right and was just in general ticking me off... since i wear my watch on my right arm due to being a lefty ...  i tried it on my left arm and suddenly I realized it was wearing much better... WHICH TICKED ME OFF for a second.    I considered why it was briefly and concluded it was the direction the clasp folds... so i looked and it seemed to me I could flip it around the other way... and sure enough  SUCCESS... i may still swap the stock band but I no longer feel like I must swap the band to wear the watch.

if you are left handed and wear your watch on your right arm and it seems wonky maybe look and see if the band can be flipped 180'

I don't understand this, basically you're saying that watches should be on the left arm? Cause you're totally right, right arm wearers are sin.

Life for us lefties sure isn't easy  :(
I keep my watch on my left arm, but find myself taking it off as soon as I know that I'll be on a keyboard for more than an hour
As a lefty, one of my dreams would be to find a left handed (well right handed, since my mouse is in my left hand) gamepad, like the Razer Orbweaver but not Razer

Well most lefties wear watches on their right wrist since it can get in the way when writing if we keep it on the left wrist

I would like to see a Madcatz R.A.T.  5 or 7 mouse. I won a R.A.T. 5 playing an open source game and used it for about a month. The damn thing aims on its own! It is the one and only thing that made me wish I was right handed.
Real men do it with a keyboard.

lol.... no wearing a watch on your left arm is a hassle if you are left handed ... of course we are the hand sinistra and all.

apparently this watch band as supplied had left arm wearers(right handed) in mind..... but such is the way of the world... as is often the case the left handed person must try to figure out a way to make it work for them.

why thank you.  :D

I personally wouldn't trade being left handed.... but it can be a hassle... you do get good at figuring out how to make devices not designed for you work for you in my experience.

???? i hear you me either.

the watch in the background is a Victorinox and the watch i was tt'ing is the Orient ... IMHO neither of them are pretending to be anything else that what they are pretty solid watches.  The Orient has been keeping time to within about 1 or 2 seconds a day for over a week here...which is pretty good for an automatic indeed.

if I was the rich ...I might get a $7~8K watch (Rolex Submariner) the rest I would build a playground for needy kids or something?

See here's what I don't get, I'd only ever consider a watch to actually be worn on the right hand is if the crown were on the left of the watch face because if you go to adjust the time with your left hand with a crown on the right you're effectively covering your watch face and need to make some werid hand bends to see the watch face.
And whether you're right handed or left handed, how hard is it to pull and turn a dial?

well.... honestly it is next to impossible to set a watch while wearing on your right arm... so i take it off  :)

but... that is not really an issue because I take my watch off all the time ..pretty much as soon as i get in the door at home, and while using a computer at work... etc..    A much bigger problem (for me) would be bashing the living heck out of my watch all day if I wore it on my left arm as it is the arm i'm doing stuff with.

Yeah I have problems bashing my arm around even with my left arm so I tend to wear a g-shock but my wife got me an orient disc that I absolutely love and it's making realize how often I hit my watch on stuff but is slowly making me better at it. I guess I was spoiled with the toughness that comes with g-shocks lol
