So, today, on the GH IRC..

Someone made an inflammatory geo-political remark..

And I attempted to express my point of view through a novel way of looking at economics.. and delineation of base wealth..

AND... it was mis-interpreted, and I got der' 1hr ban from the mod..

Honestly, what a rip-off, cuz I think it prolly only happened because I was typing so super fast..

The curse of typing-prowess...

hahahah..

Dang, Overall, if ya'll read the transcript, you'd see that I was typing a bit "MUCH" and possibly was pushing all other conversation flow to the top...

STill, I maintain that I was RESPONDING to an inflammatory remark, and defusing the situation with practical understanding of wealth outside of tradition tabulation.

TLDR:

Does the IRC get a lot of action here? In all my years of forum posting I've never used one, including on the site I used to mod for.

I can't believe you got banned from anything, even if it was just for an hour!

While I think some of the stuff you say can be misinterpreted as crazy pants, all in all, I find that you are pretty reasonable. This new edgy TP is pretty badass tho.

it's pretty docile and thin these days.. sometimes boring..

But overall.. I don't want this to be Me versus the mods.. since I find that there was never a battle, and I was merely mis-interpreted..

It does have quite a high level of activity, but as usual on IRC it has peaks and troughs.

Around now is a peak, start of work for US folk and early afternoon for EU people's.

Tp gotta learn to ****post in the right proportions. Give it time between, its like in those video games where you are on the minigun and it heats up. Just run it until its almost hot then let it cool. You get more memes per minute that way

I can't imagine that anyone would think this is you vs the mods. You are pretty docile. People just don't always understand the TP speak.

Also , the entry level guys don't care about ergonomics , they just want fancy cases and LEDs.

idk m8 I got banned and then a month later I tried to pop in as 'baldgye' and it said I was banned from the channel
