There is little doubt that this week will be my best tomato harvest of the season.
I will eat some fresh, some dehydrated, and some made into sauce for winter.
That is Cherokee purple, Kumbel, Bradley, Mr Stripey, Black Cherry, yellow pear, Better Boy, and I don't remember the tall skinny ones.

if I lived in US, I would visit fohat on a nice sunny day - we would sit on a porch and eat those tomatoes raw with a pinch of salt

Tomatoes are already salty, the store bought ones arn't because they're not ripe.

Taylor Farms salads were $1.75 ea. so I'm eating salad for the next week.

Eggplants might be the garDen Champ here economically.

Basically 4-5 eggplants long type will cost you $20.

Tp4 eats that everyday in a single meal.

The probm with sushr restaruants, is outside of the $30/roll places,  they use SO LITTLE Xpensive stuff.

The avo roll has a tiny sliver of avo,   Tp4 uses HALF a large avo per roll.

At best the $9/ rolls you get 1/4 of an avo. The ghetto ones use 1/6

MAKES NO SENSE to go to these places, since the avo is $1 each.


If you just do it all up at home, even without rolling, you'll come out WAYYYY ahead.
