Maybe not quite what you were thinking, but I nap on the train on the way home most nights.
The other night I fell asleep entering the city loop, and didn't wake up until about two stations before I had to get off. That doesn't happen often - usually I nap fitfully as the window rims aren't quite wide enough to comfortably rest an elbow on so I keep waking up when my arm slips.
That sounds refreshing actually.
I find myself wanting to nap on the drive to and from work but the car doesn't drive itself.
No self-driving cars yet, anyway.
I've only slept past my stop on public transport once, and that was on a bus in Adelaide. When I reached the end of the line (which was only about 5 stops on) I had planned to get the next bus back, only to discover that it wouldn't depart for nearly an hours (Adelaide, remember). I walked back.
God, the pick pockets must have a great time...
I'm sure you know what you're doing Rowdy. That being said, I just looked at the crime rates for AU per 100K people vs. USA's crime rates. Wow. Quite the difference indeed
I've found the best seat for a nap on the train - Xtrapolis train windows don't line up with the seats very well, and with only one person sitting next to me I make sure my arm is hooked through my backpack straps and lean against the window.
