Are you trolling or just being an idiot?

Global warming is real -- on average, when measured on a global scale. That is why it is called "global warming". Educate yourself!
Only idiots, deniers and people with an economic incentive (coal, gas. etc.) continue to claim that it wouldn't be real.
The international scientific community has consensus about this - the dissenters who call themselves "scientists" are weirdos on the fringe, often people with questionable scientific credentials often dug up by deniers.

The reason why you needed to put on some pants is because global warming is so bad that the icecaps are melting, and a larger block of ice just slid down your way, and made the weather cold, temporarily, until it melts too, and the whole planet becomes a barren desert.

Makes sense, innit?

PS: If you look out the window, and don't see the ice, I have bad news: the end is nigh, and you shall give me all your keyboards, because the world is ending anyway.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Raccoons are not uncommon pests in suburban US areas. Why not? Garbage cans are a huge supply of food.

But groundhogs are more skittish. I am surprised when I see them on the side of a busy road.

This place used to be a farm before being developed.. And there are still some small corn fields in the surrounding.

Can't get rid of groundhogs..  they just keep coming every year..

They get real big too,  size of 1.5-2 basketballs.

They have lots of foxes here in the UK apparently, although I've only ever seen one. All these exotic animals. The most exotic thing we have back home is magpies or pigeons pretty much xD .

Foxes are very secretive. They can be all around and you would never know it.

And groundhogs are approximately the size of cats.

Years ago I stayed at one of Toronto's China Towns. Our 'hotel' was a few blocks away from the Rogers Centre. I skated in the city a few times after 2am and skated past a few of them (about the size/build of year old pitbulls)  They looked up from their meals but didn't budge an inch. The scary part is none of them ran away as I cruised around on my loud as f skateboard. They would just stare at me as I rode by. I should mention that the garbage bags were tossed on the sidewalk. Not in containers

That's due to comparing a singular object to an abstract 3D space.

Here is my fox story.  I was a crew leader of a trail crew in Oregon one summer, and we kept all the food in locked boxes so critters could not get to it.  Except the spices, we kept those with the cookware.  One morning we woke up and all the spices were gone, as we failed to lock that particular box.  We looked all around for the spices and could only find an empty matchbox with teethmarks 20 feet from the unlocked box.  Everything else was gone without a trace.  We sent the whole crew out looking on the hillside and nobody could find anything.  The foxes took all our spices and matches, and only left an empty box, as if it was their signature mark they left after a theft.

Needless to say, our food was rather bland for the rest of the week.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

Don't know where you live but here in the Arse-pit of Satansville, known as Australia we've had quite a warm winter, where the lowest temps was around 12C at night.

During the day it was around 27C, perfection itself.  Love the winter months here, quite comfortable and decent temps which don't require any air conditioning at all.

Suspect when there's around 20 billion people on the surface of this planet, you'll still have those claiming that lack of rain and no water is normal and nothing to be worried about.  Those same felching gobsmacks, will also claim that the thick warm air filled with poisonous particulates, is healthy and vital to every human being (Fox news exclusive).

Except those living in air purified mansions with oxygen tanks, enjoying their slice of heaven here on Earth  8) .

Not in Victoria.  Although it's been a mild winter here too.  The lowest daytime max was around 9C, and the lowest overnight low was around 0C, both of those happened only once or twice, as opposed ot being the norm for a couple of weeks at a time.
