Just wondering if any of you guys play electric guitar haha


I personally do!

What I own that I got over the years in chronological order:   
- Ibanez RG350DX for birthday, currently modded with custom inlays and Dimarzio EVOs in bridge and neck.
- ESP LTD M330R
- Schecter C-1 Platinum Exclusive as a gift from friends 3 years after I started playing.
- Ibanez RG3 EX1 that I got second hand with gold EMGs. Damn I really love this guitar.
- Korean custom guitar that I customized/picked up while I was in Korea. They gave me a super good deal cuz...well Koreans tend to be sexist when it comes to these things (not trying to be racist, cuz im full korean, personally) so they were super surprised but luckily they werent super ******* (like most other people) were about me playing electric guitar. Got a setup that would probably cost at least $1k here in the states, for like $400 USD My favorite guitar now

I used to play a lot, 10-20 years ago. Now i just mess with synthesizers. The last guitar i had was a gibson les paul special faded, the thing was so nice.

In january 2015, i went to Japan. I was at a concert somewhere with a few different bands. After the show I was talking with some of the guys in the bands who were all hanging around and asked me if i knew how to play guitar. I said I used to play but hadn't in a while. The guy hands me his guitar and asks if i can play something for them. I don't wanna embarrass myself in front of a bunch of Japanese strangers so I freaked out for a moment trying to remember a song I knew the whole way thru.

Then I realize the only thing I know how to play.... Metallica's Seek and Destroy.

so i start playing it and all these guys are like METALLICA!!!!!!!

I've been playing guitar for most of my life. I have collected a few keepers for sure: '88 "clapton" strat, '"51" custom shop No-caster relic, my own configuration of a 50th anniversary 2007 strat, 2004 Gibson ES335, Warwick Thumb 5-string bass, and a few acoustics that arent anything special.

if only keyboards were as impressive..  cuz guitars are very inconvenient to carry around ontop of making you look like a tool.. hahahahahaha

I've wondered this..

Just like omron switches.. the Guitar is ubiquitous in modern music.


Is the reason for your affinity a case of mere adhesion to proliferation or is there a unique set of events which drew you to guitars..

I grew up playing in bands. Quit college to go on tour etc. I do not play much anymore. Last band I was in had to play a lot of bar shows to make money and I got super burnt out. I miss playing, greatly.

I have:

Fender Telecaster. 1972 Remake.
Orange AD30tcc with a roadcase.


I have a pedal board with various pedals. I will try and post a pic of it soon.

Sold off a bunch of my stuff and some gear got stolen.
