Greetings
« on: Fri, 07 April 2017, 21:43:48 »
Greetings fellow  hum... Keybordians.
I've spent countless nights reading random posts and engaging in imaginary conversations with all of you. Inside my head we are already family, each one of you has been assigned nicknames and proper voice tones. Topre keyboard owners sound like Marlon Brando; HHKB owners are more like Speedy Gonzales.

Still, since I was marginally sane not ready to spend all that I have in keyboards I've resisted the urge to show my face avatar around GH.
But now everything has changed. I have been enlightened by consumerism. Here's what has just arrived:

Yeah! Behold! A fantastic "Not a Topre Keyboard" - my daughter's college savings were not enough to pay for one. But mommy told me that Filco with MX Silent Reds is just a good (as in: getting a degree in Computer Science is just as good as getting a degree in Medicine).

You should also notice the cheap VicTop TKL with MX blue clones that I've casually bought just to take this picture and pretend that I know anything about keyboards / switches. Hopefully you are all very impressed! Now I'm a mech Keyboard master, Powner! So what if I can't really type... Or write... Or read.

On a more serious note: I'm just passing by to thank the community. Lots of great information around these parts.

Hi there. Powernote is a brazilian brand that sells Clevo rigs. I call it Kevin Spacey because its Space and Y keys are broken ;D. I've recently bought Spacey a younger brother from HIDevolution; way better keyboards than this one. Not a ThinkPad but still pretty decent (P650 line)

Now I'm all set. Except for the RealForce keyboard.
