I'm looking for book recommendations. Specifically books about catastrophes and tragedies. Bhopal, 8/6/45, Chernobyl, and the like.

I'm guessing that you're looking for non-fiction? One of my fictional catastrophe books is "One Second After".

Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but I've got a couple comic/manga good ones.

Ultimatum graphic novel - Magneto floods NY killing millions and the heroes dealing with the grief and aftermath.

51 Ways To Save Her - Tokyo is hit by a devastating earthquake, the manga deals more with emotional outcomes and changes in the face of disaster
