So took my ~1mos old truck to Bigbear this weekend (~3hrs ea way) .. nice trip moutain biking with a pretty good group of people rented condo for weekend had a fairly gigantic party saturday night which was good fun indeed.
Truck was great on the trip ... everything pretty smooth.. and great instant karma on the one (mostly just this one.. obviously a few knob heads on the road but nothing too egregious except this one idiot in a Toyota Tacoma that was driving like an utter maniac CA-18 (windy 2 lane mountain road) ... didn't really do it to me..but made quite high speed pass around other traffic behind me he had been tailgating quite badly .. sort~ of tailgated me but not so much because I also had truck?? or whatever.. at next passing zone i was just going to let him go by because I didn't want to deal with him..but then minivan in front of me started slowing a braking quite a lot right as the 2 lane passing area began..so I went by him and a row of other slow moving cars all the while with this other Truck right up my exhaust... finally got clear and moved right and he went bombing around which was fine and all..
Then as I predicted to my wife he immediately got held up by more traffic which was hilarious.. since new traffic in front of him /not trucks he was tailgating the hell out of them..
blah blah ... I decided to pull out to get a couple pics of this view here...
then started off again shortly down the road (now with no traffic in front or behind..) came up on this same truck pulled over by the CHP...lol...
