Just got 2x deathgate expansion drives (BF)
Putting them through their paces..
5900rpm 8tb..
Very quiet, needle's fairly quiet too..
Runs kewl, inside enclosures, 43 C read/write, 39 C idle, ambient 70F
The quietness surprised me, it really tells me that the spindle is very good this time around..
Off usb3.0 158 read 158 write
Should be a little faster shucked.. but might not even do that, since they're not hot. I guess summer maybe
