Ya'll remember print'n sheet music on bubble jet ?  Big bleeding blobs and blurry lines. Lzr is amazing for this.

yeah bought an old HP laser printer (got a 4250 for 10 euros with its original toner only 90% used, came from a school) a while back for that exact reason, the print quality is so much better, and also the ink does not dry (well it is dry by default )

Laser better in certain areas, photos I'll still use an ink/pigment based printer (commercial large format not a silly inkjet)

modern lasers seems to deal a lot better with smoothing for photos than old ones, but their inherent sharpness is a double edge sword, the natural smoothing of inkjet can be better for photo, kinda depend on the printer too though
