I'm calling your bluff, your Ergodox doesn't have a PS/2 interface, thus this is merely a hypothetical scenario.

I used an F AT with a passive PS/2 adapter for a while. I use way too many different computers for that to be very practical though.

So you use something other than an Ergodox, with a PS/2 interface? Seems implausible.

What are we considering PS/2? Straight up pure PS/2, or with the use of adapters? I haven't used a desktop at work at all since they took my old one away, so very few systems I use at work even have that interface baked in and I sometimes have significant irritation trying to get PS/2 actually functioning in modern iterations of Windows (seemingly depending on the hardware involved). Linux usually seems pretty plug and play.

It is always nice just being able to use PS/2 to free up USB ports and give the bus a break. I don't know that I have ever noticed anything more about it other than the novelty of using a nearly dead interface, which is inherently entertaining.

My understanding was that when there were both purple and aqua sockets on the motherboard you "probably" had an actual PS/2 connection, but when there is a single purple/aqua mini-DIN6 socket you are almost certainly getting a converted USB connection.

Not that it matters, I haven't gotten a 2-socket motherboard in a decade or more, but I have at least a couple of old boxes that would probably happily run a light Linux distro if I ever get around to it.

They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
