They're going full out to stop south asia from being a port for chinese products into the US.

The problem is, US realistically can't make most of these products, in the same way that when Britain had all the most advanced technology, THEY stopped being able to make day to day products, soon, they stopped being able to even keep their military production afloat.

US is headed in the same direction,  this is why we need to annex, enslave Mexico / South America.

They're gearing up the Rhetoric in the News for us to invade.

Long run, this probably won't work.  It didn't work for the British.

Trump removing mentions of Harriet Tubman from history is so wrongheaded and racist. Crazy every day now. The new norm.

removing .... from history

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.

Tp4's counter argument is,  Everyone will lose alot of weight. And it's accurate in that there will not be mobility scooters, as people won't be able to afford them when 99% of mobility scooters are made in China.

“These countries are calling us up. Kissing my ass. They are dying to make a deal,” Trump told a group of Republicans on Tuesday evening, hours before the tariffs were set to take hold.
He described foreign leaders essentially groveling to avoid the new tariffs: “Please, please sir, make a deal. I’ll do anything sir.”

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman asked Leavitt directly if Trump thought iPhone manufacturing was the type of technology that could move to the US. Leavitt said “Absolutely. He believes we have the labor, we have the workforce, we have the resources to do it.”

Walter Isaacson’s biography, Steve Jobs, clearly describes meetings between Jobs and then-president Barack Obama in 2010 and 2011, where Jobs explained that the problem is that America lacks the 30,000 properly trained engineers needed to support a factory workforce rivaling the 700,000 workers employed in China:

Apple had 700,000 factory workers employed in China, he said, and that was because it needed 30,000 engineers on-site to support those workers. ‘You can’t find that many in America to hire,’ he said.

Tim Cook has been just as blunt, describing the issue in 2017 at Fortune Magazine’s Global Forum event.

…the truth is China stopped being the low labor cost country many years ago and that is not the reason to come to China from a supply point of view. The reason is because of the skill and the quantity of skill in one location, and the type of skill. It is like the products we do require really advanced tooling and the precision that you have to have in tooling and working with the materials that we do are state-of-the-art, and the tooling skill is very deep here. You know in, in the US, you could have a meeting of tooling engineers, and I’m not sure we could fill the room — in China you could fill multiple football fields.

Democrats insider trades like no one's business just as much.

Ocasio-Cortez: ""There needs to be Democrats who walk the walk and talk the talk. There is an insane amount of hypocrisy, and the hypocrisy is what gets exploited to use the cynicism and wherever there's a hypocritical window. For example, I think one of the most biggest examples of this is insider trading in Congress"...."And then we're supposed to act like money only corrupts Republicans?""

LLann, this is actually an area Tp4 knows quite well. China graduates 1.5+ Million engineering students every year.  Alot of them are running middle management, but they are engineers. And these students that go through these programs pretty much already have the first 1.5-2 years of your typical american 101-202 math and science courses completed in high-school.

When they say 30,000 engineers, it's not some embellishment.  China has far surpassed the USA in engineering education and capability.

The United States only graduate around 50-70,000 a year.

China does not shy away from math, their society is set up such that math/science for most people is their only form of Social-Mobility.

Check out this insanity:

https://www.ianwelsh.net/china-cuts-the-legs-out-underneath-the-us-lng-industry/

TL;DR version
What’s becoming clear about this trade war is that China has gamed it out. They thought ahead, having learned lessons during the first Trump administration: they were ready. They’ve massively reduced their vulnerabilities and carefully examined America’s weaknesses, and now they’re hitting them. Hard.
This realigns American allies in Europe and Australia more towards China, it hurts the US, and it highlights the benefits of doing business with China.

President .... to uphold the damn law

It is the responsibility of the Supreme Court to determine, what, exactly "the law" actually is. They spoke last summer.

The Supreme Court is the final arbiter. Responsibility for allowing a President to break bad lies exclusively with that body.
Only the combined actions of both houses of Congress (including 2/3 of the Senate) can win relief for us. And that would be JD Vance.

This is a generations-long project that has been in the works since the late-1950s - read the book "Democracy in Chains" - it is sure to be in your public library.

Not to mention the cost of labor, manufacturing, parts, and insurance for every single one of your factory workers.
There is a reason huge corporations do their manufacturing in countries like China and India.
It simply would not financially be possible in the USA without drastically reducing current inflation and upping the nationwide minimum wage. Both of which will never happen with the current corrupt thieving revisionists in power. They would LIKE to make the US working class an indentured class, but that is far down the line. As much as they try to accelerate the wealth gap to have a distinct class of suffering workers, that won't happen without mass bloodshed.

I'm genuinely, genuinely confused as to whether or not these average MAGA Americans voted to make billionaires richer or not. On one hand it seems weird as it wouldn't be in their interest, on the other, it is so unbelievably evident that that's what's going on, the writing is so overtly on the wall, that it seems impossible not to be aware of this.

Not kidding, my confusion is 100% genuine. It's like homeless Americans still voting against tax cuts for the rich because they don't want to have to pay more taxes once they strike it rich themselves. Is it the same mentality here?

No, they're illiterate morons. They don't understand anything about anything. Trump is a brand, and it sells itself as sticking it to the liberals.

They perceive liberals as the Corpo-Elites who extract from and ruin their lives. They don't realize that ALL capitalists do that regardless of affiliation.

IN THE SAME WAY,  Democrats tell democrat voters, that they're going to fix everything, they're all about workers rights, and cutting emissions, and saving the animals.

Again, SAME LIES, different audience.

The average democrat, is just as illiterate, just as unworldly, just as stupid, same morons, different Brand.

Then there's Bernie Sanders, Acutually an OK guy.  Not great, still a capitalist, but way better than the average.

Jury is still out on AOC,  highly doubt the image.

So when they see something like this, would that upset them? Cause them to regret their vote?

Because there is so much stuff like this, how could they possibly stay on board with Trump in the face of all this evidence?

They are not all stupid, many are just extremely stubborn and/or racist
The very first ones to turn on him will be the uneducated working class, because they will feel the effects of his actions first
The long-term entrenched ones will be the intelligent and wealthy ones who can ride it out, and will go to any length to save face

Will ANYONE actually turn on him though?

I see so many videos on YT come by about Trump losing face or making some sort of fatal mistake (in their opinion) but to me it doesn't look like he's teetering at all, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he gets that 3rd term.

So when they see something like this, would that upset them? Cause them to regret their vote?

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E2dr8En2N5A

Because there is so much stuff like this, how could they possibly stay on board with Trump in the face of all this evidence?

You are presupposing they have the capacity + Habit to make a second order inference.   They don't.

These are children of the Time-poor/ Time-Starved peasants. Their programming is a cobbled together shanty of daytime television and social media brain rot.

They have no basis of "Reality."  They are born servants and the system deliberately locks them in.  There's no thought behind those eyes, they are a short step above animals reacting to short term pain/relief, hot and cold.

Ask a child, what he thinks of the global policy on energy fairness,  He is not qualified to answer, he does not even have the pre-requisite to Think about the problem.

To be clear, Tp4 is not saying these are Bad People, they ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE
, they have a right to life, and all the things we've deprived them of.

But the current situation is, They are peasants, weaponized by the Elite, against other Elites.

There are just as many Democrat peasants as Republican peasants. Both political parties LIE, their behavior/perspectives/ideology are actually IDENTICAL.  Farm the peasants, Kill the Planet.

This system is working as it should, Class systems + Bureaucracy were necessary evolutions in social structure to Efficiently Manage groups of humans much larger than that of a village, as terrible and inhumane as they are.

The problem with this system is NOT-Only inequality,  the way we DEFINE-Progress is Dangerously-Myopic. As fleas, we Burn and Kill the cat which we live on, we then write that down as Check-marks of economic tablature.  The ecosystem is in a rapid death spiral Primarily due to Animal-Agriculture.

There is no future for mankind if our CONCEPT of improvement does not change.

I don't know what will happen. An increasing number of people are scared, as they should be. No one but extremist right-wingers want a civil war, but on the other hand no one in government is doing anything at all at the consistent constitutional violations and law breaking. This is all uncharted waters. If a civil war happens and the people do not go all-in and win, they will be labled as traitors and executed. It is a fight no one wants, and one we could not afford to lose.

I think the biggest failing is America is exhausted from fighting through his previous term and all the bull**** that came with it, and still reeling from the pandemic which many Americans never recovered from. I can attest my life has not been the same since 2020, and I never properly 'bounced back.' The country is fatigued, which is the perfect moment to kill democracy and civil liberties.

Personally I want to gtfo America. Whatever happens, I do not want to be here when it does. I'm way far down on their perceived enemies list, but eventually they will get to 'those who oppose the administration' and by that point it will be far too late. They are already testing the waters deporting US citizens with valid visas and families, do not fool yourself thinking anyone and everyone who sleights Trump is on the table.

This is the kind of idiocy structure of our global governance.

Burning house,  guy who sharpens sticks,  we take this guys,, and we're going to defend this bed room if it's the last thing we do, cough, cough, rubs sweat.   22 seconds later, everyone suffocated and died of smoke inhalation.

"Based on everything we are seeing, the critical inputs for our future supply chain are shut down."""

Humanity is hopeless. The center of that article is around the impact on the Fishing industry.  The same fishing industry that's responsible for over 50% of plastic pollution in the ocean, (through discarded fishing nets).   The same industry that has essentially caused one of the greatest extinction events of marine life.   Estimates place 70-95% of all ocean sharks are gone.

Their lens is so focused on, Human livelihoods. Even at this moment they are completely blind to the catastrophe that is the Human enterprise. The holocaust every few minutes we commit against the natural world.

They talk about shutting down NOAA, as a bad thing, WHICH it is.   But then, it reads,  Oh without NOAA, how will Fishermen set safe-sustainable fishing targets. There is no such thing as sustainable fishing, with Drag nets.  Every year the fishing fleet of earth, cull using drag nets an area the size of the United States (under water).   Drag nets destroys the ocean ecosystem as it scrapes the bottom and mass kills all life.

So Fohat.dig is worried about republican vs democrats,  this Republican senator is worried about Fishing.

All the while, nature collapses all around us in a mass die off.

To be clear, NOAA is very important. But not for fishing reasons.

Working-class white voters who’ve read a book in the last year are much more Democratic than working-class white voters who haven’t.  -Nate Cohn (statistics)

So the democrat land owners by enslaving the population and destroying education to maintain "their own" slave wage force, shot themselves in the foot.

Well, there's your problem. /Chekm8

Democrats and Republicans might disagree on the surface about ideals,  but they AGREE 100% on Capitalist Slavery.

To which Tp4 contends, they're the Same party. In America, there is the Very right wing Democrats, and the Extreme right wing Republicans.

The fact that the Democrats are a right wing party is unabashed and undisputed. The only unawares is in the working class.

In general though, if they were "really different", the actions say otherwise. For a long time, Democrats actually had the ability to codify many things on abortion/lgbt for many years, Democrats DIDN'T DO IT.  They hung it out there to use as media fodder for the next election.

When Biden came in, he KEPT all of the Previous Trump Tariffs.

So there you have it. Pretty clear cut, Same Grifters,  Different flags.

That's not surprising. I have read well over a thousand books in my life (and maybe over 2K) so the "left" is strong in this one, even though probably no more than 10% were politics and/or American History.

California Governor republican candidate, Langford added, “We know who you are, we know where you are, if you marry one of our Californian incels then you can stay but if you don’t, then, well you get sent back across.”

Headscratch, are they assuming illegal immigrant women can't do better than American Incels? This is quite offensive.

How many incels are there even vs # of undocumented women?

Tp4 as #3402 volcel of America knowing a bit on the subject,  can't imagine actual incels even considering marriage.

I thought that the "in" part referred to "involuntary".

Wouldn't the prospect of effortlessly obtained women be a sort of dream scenario?

Not that I would advocate such a thing, but "marrying for a green card" has been a trope for decades.

This is 100% in character for totalitarian states. In such governments, positions of power will typically be given to the people who are the most loyal, not necessarily the most competent.

Maybe, maybe not.
He'd probably be fired the second time (it happened more than once) but there's a good chance we'd have never known any of it happened because they would have caught it and talked to the reporter who would have kept quiet. There's ways to deal with it, they chose the worst.

That's part of the problem with these guys, they can't handle being wrong and it makes them easy to manipulate, it's like tricking a child into doing something by saying they can't do something, they just have to prove you wrong.

This is 100% in character for totalitarian states. In such governments, positions of power will typically be given to the people who are the most loyal, not necessarily the most competent.

All large bureaucracies are totalitarian, they all disappear whoever they want.

The difference really only comes down to whether or not its ran efficiently, such that, they don't HAVE TO disappear anyone.

Unfortunately, that erodes rapidly over time.   For most of people's lives, we've managed - upwards in growth phases, that's easy,  but as we approach managing DOWN,  you're going to see a rapid return to very narrowly defined justice, as the total processing capacity of the bureaucracy takes a dive with the rest of society..

For example, right now, today, large bureaucracies have enough bandwidth to say, ok, man is this, woman is that, trans is such, OK, define, execute, define execute,

As society ages, the bureaucracy's processing power shrinks because capitalism mis-appropriates larger and larger quantities of wealth. This is akin to a CPU producing more and more errors in its lifespan, and able to sustain only LOWER and LOWER clockspeeds at higher and higher power consumption.

So, now, you got Jimbob Gatorade left in the office, and he's got time for Man and Woman, we don't even have the paperworks capacity to file / sort for Trans.    The bureaucracy adopts less tolerance in order to maintain clearing of more critical functions.

You have to understand. Under Obama, the Us conducted the largest assa tssina..t1on campaign in the history of histories against the middle east.

US is exempt from any war crime trials. But if we were not, pretty much every single US president would be as guilty as Put-in/H17ler.

The problem is deep within the system of tribalism, and our dependency on the PURSUIT of excess.

Under Obama,  we crashed Iran's refineries with our stuxnet virus,  and they hacked us back and crippled wall street, (proving), that hey if you want to play this,  we can do it too without fancy computers, ultimately forcing US to back off, IRAN, that place out of no where, with people living on less than $10.   What we "consider" "sane" leadership is demonstrably FALSE, and we're at near misses for WW3 every time, always pushing escalation.

Who's they and who's we is arbitrary.

Fohat hasn't thought much about that.   The average fohats of the world take  They and We  as givens.

Chyros is divided on who's in charge of the sinking ship.

Without talking about the condition of the ship,  it doesn't matter which personality you attach your loyalties to.

Demo/Repub, Trump, Biden, Obama. ALL BAD OPTIONS.

Bernie Sanders, and maybe AOC, big maybe,   might do a little better, not much, but a little.
