LOL!!!
I can also do group buys with dumping prices and in the end ask for a 'sorting fee'!
I just wondered why Melissa told me yesterday they'd get packed the ususal way and prices are without shipping....
... Its not my fault Melissa assumed that I would be willing to sort out 15 thousand keys and at no point informed me that there was a significant sorting fee, nor did anyone on here with that knowledge point it out. I think its pretty rational for me to have the expectation that if sorting wasn't included, a person in her position would at least inform me of it, if not for my own benefit, for extra revenue. Hell if I didn't ask her if sorting was included when I asked her for the invoice, I would have gotten a much worse surprise when they showed up all unsorted... resulting in me spending a week or more of time I don't have sorting out keys. As you may recall, this is my first full keyset group buy, and before with the other group buys their bulk method wasn't simply preferred, but necessary because the orders were so varied.
Also there is a difference between asking for a couple of dollars to cover a sorting fee that I paid up front after negotiating it to a workable level, and raising prices 67% while orders are being collected. Prices are supposed to go
DOWN as a group buy nears closure, not up.
I'm waiting on a specific ETA from Melissa before updating the OP btw, and I'll post it at the end of the thread when I know as usual. Generally its 3-5 weeks, then 2 days or so for them to get to me, followed by a few days after receiving them for me to pack them and get them out. Then between 2 days and 3 weeks (international) for transit time.
Edit: Melissa said 5 weeks. Will let me know if she ships sooner.
Edit 2: I see Round 4 got put on hold again. I guess Ripster was right.
