1) did everyone get a good long heads up from EK? No
they did from me

2) did everyone get a chance to get one from EK? No
they did from me

3) The EK sale did slow down geekhack by a good bit! (not as bad though)

My point is they serve different purposes and they serve them better than not.

My PM was sent at 18:23 forum time (GMT -7, Mountain TZ). I only requested 2 keys in my order which was below the max and my first listed request was filled.

I should have requested the max number and then sold the 3rd at cost to someone as it seems others are already offering theirs at double the price in the classifieds and people are countering with higher than double offers. If your motive is profit that's the way to do it I guess. I'd rather help someone else out but to each his own.

Its a mix of the two. But 50 people refreshig every 5 seconds didnt help.

Because its been flaky for a couple days. But from about 345 to 530 the site was almost unusable.

If that's an allowed practice, what's to stop people who could give a **** about keyboards and key caps from joining geekhack for the sole purpose of making a quick buck?

CC sales are rare.

Even if those people manage to get keys, they will get three.
Making 100$ tops.

But that is only IF they manage to ''F5'' at the right second.

Whats lame is if there was rules on pricing. I always price stuff fair I feel. But you need to yell at the people willing to pay the money not the ones selling. If something is priced too high it won't sell simple as that. If someone is willing to pay then why knock the seller. With click clacks you don't even need a classified. Just mention you might sell one and people will PM you.
