Clickclack, I'm looking at you. I keep throwing money at my screen, but it seems to have no effect.

edit: I did some quick sketches, if there's interest I'll do more. Thinking of a techno and chibi Cthulhu as well. Perhaps a render when this semester's over.

That thingverse page just crashed my video card!

ATI's driver software reset the card for me.

So the print worked, but it is too hard to pick out the detail, since those tentacles are only a couple of mm across. I am going to reprint with some better definition by carving out the eyes and tentacles to be over-defined, and also by increasing the head size so it overlaps the key a bit.

The print is actually black, so I'll have to color the face green and then clearcoat a few times.

Weird – a decal-look pad printed Cherry MX keyboard?

From the size of it it looks like a thumb joystick – like a Texan trackpoint. Actually that would be pretty cool …

The decal print is the craptastic stock kinesis ergo keys. I was stunned by the low quality of the keys you get on a $300 board.

Neither. It is a printer of my own design, although it uses Marlin firmware and Slic3r skeining software. The printer is here:

No trackpoint yet. I have to do some more research before I buy one off ebay, and I need to design it into my new keyboard casing.
