also thanks to user BroCaps for the recommendation for the datavac! I was convinced it sucked, but it literally blows!  :))

i want a datavac so bad but you cant get em here

super awesome sir well played

bro caps is a big fan of those and has had me wanting one for over a year

I just got one from black friday and it is really useful. There isn't a way you can just have someone (Cody maybe?) forward you one in the mail? Or is it because the voltages don't match?
I also would love one of these a lot but sadly we in the UK would need a converter as you american use weird voltages :x if someone does know of anything that can be used in the UK though it would be much loved to know

im going to probly end up swapping the stems and throwing on a black on black realforce set.

This is the exact opposite of the reason that board was even invented...  :))

This looks like the ticket for our friends across the pond who want a Datavac. :)

Just checking to have it shipped from B&H to the UK it estimates it ending up costing ~$200...ouch  :-\

Not me.  But he said it feels worse than a RF, so there's really no reason to have the NT unless you're going to use it for MX caps.  (I think it feels fine, so I love mine)
I was just pointing out that it's an unusual thing to do.  :P

That price included all fees actually they have an option where you pay the fees when your purchase or you can opt to pay the fees later upon delivery.

I'm wondering how much fees would be if someone sent you one out of the box and put used for parts only or something with a lower value on it?  ;D

Amazon has a few listed for $70ish which is quite good but dependant on if we get customs fees too although it wouldn't be that bad mumble mumble royal mail £11 "handling fee"

Somewhat guesstimating on size and weight but it should be around 3lbs and fit in a box with no side greater than 12", valuing it at $25, estimating on usps.com and using your own box would cost first class international ~$29 and international priority would be ~$47, using a uk address I happen to have in my address book.

But I don't know how much they might hit you for import duties etc and also you would not be able to insure it or anything giving it a lower value.

I also found this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Datavac-Electric-Duster-ED-500-220-240V/dp/B003BZCOKK

yeah its the whole issue of having to get someone to buy it, the silly international shipping for it, then buying a step down thing for it etc etc etc

i have looked a lot though and i cant find a decent alternative sold here in the uk, and i have 3 damn cats that love my desk, or basically any time i put a keyboard down, this happens

Okay thanks for checking anyway found one that I  most likely buy once I return for Spain just in case you wanted to check as well bunny it seems you basically pay the customs before hand which is okay and its not massively expensive just still niggling me though about the whole 240v/230v/220v so I emailed the seller just to double check but it's confusing as :x

Edit opps forgot the link

keeping! i dont have a TKL so its nice, im going to probly end up swapping the stems and throwing on a black on black realforce set. Waaaay to expensive of a board, it doesnt possess the topre feels compared to (HHKB,realforce,Fc660c) but the build quality is nice.
Unfortunately, Realforce stems don't fit - the Novatouch stems are slightly wider. Then Realforce caps don't work because they have 6u Space Bar and 1.5/1 mods while the Novatouch has a 6.25 space bar and all mods are 1.25.
Cherry MX-compatible caps only... The Realforce caps are one of my favourites also.

Aw, too bad about the palm rest! Is it very cold to use btw?

Yeah its cold, but I really like it since I live in Asia where it's kinda hot and humid here :D

Wow, that marble wrist rest looks so nice! Also that Darth  Vader is pretty cool too!  May I ask where you got both of them?

Got it from my Japanese proxy, the vader was from Amazon Japan and the wrist rest was from diatec (Filco Japan)

The fn cap fits the bottom two rows of an HHKB (the other cap is number row).  Assuming the RF is the same, it should work as a Windows cap.  I will admit I don't know the row profiles of RF that well.   :-[

Well the D size will be used in flashlights and lanterns, C in a few of the kids toys and a few electronics like radios and the AA and AAA in kids toys and remotes.

These should last us a good while.

I got my thick blank PBTs after like 3 months. All I'm waiting for now is my custom escape, and my Poker II will be complete.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core came in the mail. Seems to be much much better for my hand than previous R.A.T. 5, which made my wrist hurt like hell in once in a while. Like this mouse a lot. :)

I like it because it's almost like the legendary MX518 what I had before R.A.T. 5, and it's still in use on my GF's computer. My hand is small and R.A.T. didn't support at all at the back of my hand that made my wrist very very f'cking painful sometimes. I also get used to little weighty mouse and yeah, it had to be expensive and good mouse with weights. Sometimes when you use some cheapo ****ty mouses it's just masturbation to use my own; just like with KB's, nothing beats my Poker II :-*

In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..
