How's your impression of the Skinny? (other than 'favorable', of course :D )  As in how does it sound--and does it slide around much?

It's thin...thinner than I originally thought.  I'm using a Grifiti fat wrist pad with it so it's up against that and doesn't slide around at all.  Since it's all open the sound is pretty different than what I'm used to.  It's got a really thick thunking sound.  It's not a bad thing just a bit louder than my Mini and other boards.  Surprisingly, for as minimalist as it is, the whole thing feels pretty damn solid.  Gotta give credit to Alaric for doing  a great job assembling everything as well.

Where'd you get the stickers?

On another note, a couple years back (4 to be exactish) my dad got a company deal on 3G kindles with unlimited free 3G, for either free or some super cheap amount, as the company made the chip in the kindle. The thing is still going, and free 3G (even has a built in but ****ty browser) is awesome

Mine smells like feet, because I prop my bare feet up on it all the time. Guessing they're somewhat absorbent.

The arrival of my Space Invaders boards came today ...

The small backspace isn't bothering me as much as I thought it would.  The only potential issue would be the space bar which clearly uses a stiffer switch; but that just takes a period of adjustment. Even if it bothers me long term the switches can be relocated.

How to best describe these?  I don't know if it's possible.  It's as if a Topre and a MX White had a baby - this would be the result.

The NMB has 2-4kro with a ps/2->usb converter. I need to order another AT/PS2 but have the feeling the DTK may be NKRO.

edit: Sadly the DTK Grafika only does around 5kro through at>ps/2>usb.  That's plenty for me though!

Start thinking of the next excuse for the next keyboard you want to get ... ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
