Random package arrived
Show Image

Forgot about this

Keyboard sleeves to keep them clean when in storage, 3 different sizes, tenkeyless, poker/356 and forgot the one for the last one I got 4 of the tenkeyless and 2 of each for the other ones, gonna pick up more tenkeyless ones later

356N MKII, took awhile before I found one. It is optimized for tactile switches hence why it's clears 55g. The plate is a poly-carbonate half plate, once again optimized for tactile switches. (Sadly 2 switches is misaligned and I'm gonna have to get that fix my OCD kicks in everytime i look down thats why I went PBT blanks)

Besides that I got in more keyboard parts such as oil plate, switches, springs, stickers, stablizers and such.

Oh and I got in this wicked wrist rest, took forever to get into this GB, lots of users on other forums gets it from him the quality is quite top notch, it also smells amazing too.
Keyboardless

Mechanicalkeyboards is selling(or was) limited edition whites with pink caps and blue switches. But since they were never properly made to be LE, the price was only $88. So someone bought the board and sold me just the caps.

Edit: Also waiting on a pink case from imsto, it'll be pimping after that :)

Fits like this:

Show Image

This is a QFR. You can see in the picture that there's barely enough room for the space bar, and it actually does strike the case when typing. The stock QFR space fits fine, but I haven't tried any other space bars yet. Other than that, it fits perfectly.
Don't sand the space bar... Sand the case. That will help with all SP kits then instead of making each different set a let down that it won't fit.

Exactly correct. One change and everything fits as opposed to modifying every keycap set you want to put on it.

tsangan, how do the poly-carb plates make the switches feel compared to a standard metal plate?

And can you also point me to where I can also get some 55g springs and more switch stickers? That 356N MKII with those imsto caps looks amazing.

Very cool! They look perfect with those blanks. I wasn't sure how they would look with a regular keyboard (non unicorn-vomit board). i3oiler delivers as usual!

Won this little fella on ebay last week.  It was advertised as used, but as far as I can see it is NIB.  Zero shine or visible wear on the keys, no dust or other schmutz underneath the keys.

Is the "HA CK" deliberate?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
