anyone have any good instrumental/no vocals high energy workout music?
I have a lot of consternation pinpointing a good album at the gym, and I can't keep listening to the same 3 over and over.

Dance with the Dead is high energy electronic power metal with no vocals. Driven to Madness is a great album by them.
If you are ok with little to no vocals, DJ Blyatman is a riot. Album Gopnik is amazing. Babushka is a stand out track.
If doom metal is up your alley I enjoy Pelican. Australasia and The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw is good.

Woke up with this song in my head, could not remember the name, the band, or any of the lyrics. Spent about 30 mins trying to figure out what it was. Sometimes it feels like my brain is getting stupider every year.
This is good! It reminds me a lot of Steve Hillage's 1980's stuff.

Just came from a lovely concert by the Akropolis Reed Quintet.

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

The production of this Tokyo City Pop DJ mix is simply kawaii. I like the aunt and uncles having coffee and grooving to the tunes.  ;D

**** me sideways, this actually exists.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

This song is now #1 in Ukraine, and Ukrainian media is exploding due to that =)
