Welcome to Geekhack...sorry for your wallet.
haha thanks for the quick reply, but what exactly is so special about the KMAC keyboards? Aren't they using cherry MX switches?
Yup, Kmac is as far as you can go with cherry mx
The individual switches are disassembled and lubricated on the inside. And there is a Sticker placed in the middle of the housing, which dampens spring ping sound.
A higher viscosity lube is allied to the spring to prevent it from pinging, "i think", I've only heard it, not sure.
the springs are also available for "custom" tweaking in terms of "force." you can pick, and the put it in.
It's the same exercise as turning the same engine and car from a mercedes into a ferrari.
An expense in purposelessness yes, but it's a human condition, so we must oblige.

There is no 'BEST" keyboard.
There's only what fits the bill, and whatever it is that YOU like. One cannot only rest on the judgement of others in determination of the self. When the two are balanced we are complete.
I mention this because the "best" keyboards require both internal investment of oneself into the project, not only the procurement of pre-existing arrangements.
Luxury keyboards are not functionally superior, people should know that by now.
the main limiter is still the USER.
