Use keyboard layout editor to get the layout for the plate builder, then Big Blue Saw can cut it for you.
If you are using the layout editor, make sure it actually matches up with the PCB, as I made one for the B87 layout, and when matching up with the one Monstermask made, it didn't line up, so I had to use autocad to line up the plate
What do you mean by line up? Are you talking about the top row gap/ spacing?
Yeah, but the spacing issues were only with the function keys in relation to the main part, and the TKL to the main part
Do you still have the measurements you used?
Not on me right now, I might be able to grab them later today, definitely tomorrow

For Stab lube which Tamiya lube should I be using?

GP-383 flouropolymer grease? the OP-439 antiwear grease? Or something else?

Also on the off chance that someone knows, where can I get krytox or RO-59 here in Japan?

Does anyone know what keyboard this is? All I know is that its a ducky keyboard with white ducky keycaps, but I don't know what the keyboard/keyboard case is.

I recently bought Cherry G80-3000 LSCEU-0, and I really like BLUE switches, but I need something stronger, like MX Greens.
So I have to ask is it possible (for someone who is not techical expert) to change MX blues to MX greens since current ones are PCB mounted ( thats what I heard please correct me)?

So blues for greens is it doable?

You can make yourself Ghetto greens, find yourelf stiffer springs, open up the switch top, swap the springs and that's about it, consider lube.
Aside from the color, blue stem is similar to the greens.

Ghetto greens, sounds legit :)
Nice suggestion, can you just point me to some store in Europe that has those springs I need?
I also saw this:
Spring force is measured by bottom out force, NOT actuation force.

Does it mean I need 80g springs or stronger/weaker?

Here's an interesting thread about spring weights: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=46449.0
You need springs that are above 80g in bottom out force. Remember the korean measure it at the bottom out.

Easiest option is probably to source them here: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=55888.0 , you could also get the spring from a mx black keyboard.

Maybe it's this Shine II? You could also Look through this list and see if any other board looks similar. Ducky has a lot of boards and variants, many of which look the same to me, so I'm never 100% sure on IDing them.

I'd stay away from lubing clicky switches. I've not had good experience with lubed Blues. It seems to remove some of the click from them.

I think it's WASD who uses SuperLube on their stabilizers. So whatever the Tamiya equivalent is? Something thick. And I don't know anything about sourcing lube in Japan. I'm in the process of testing out some dry film Teflon lube for switches though so maybe you'd like to experiment with different lubes? Also Hasu may be able to help you.

It's a Shine II. The media key legends on F1-F4 are the giveaway. The 3 and 4 moved the media keys to the navigation cluster.

But I think the point is, if you want a board with a similar look, you want some iteration of the Ducky Shine.

Has anyone tried gateron browns? I see lots of reviews for almost all the other types. I'm a tactile switch fanatic - ergo clears and 45g topre. Would love it if there were gaters i could hype on.

sadly you can't, they're slightly better than the mx but still not as tactile as ergos or Topre.
I wish gaterons made them browns ergo-like :/

Any updates on the numbers? :D

So the offset between the blue and white is 4.76mm? Also I assume the blue is the A.87 plate.

Is there a place to buy Gaterons on demand or do I have to wait 100 years for Massdrop?

Like the Massdrop GB and the Gateron GB hosted by hwood34 and Shadovved, you get to wait like the rest of us.
Well then is there a place where I can buy a replicator?

Not the one you are looking for, but hey, it's a replicator.

B87, but I assume? the plates are the same, and yes, that is where the offset is

No this is an A.87 so if the measurements have are for a B.87 they might not work for this.

Now *that's* a ****ing good question. If you find an answer, PM me ;)
If I find one I'll replicate it, and then replicate a teleporter and beam the replicated replicator to you.*

* No guarantees on items replicated by a replicated replicator.

Yup, you can either find a G80 PCB that fits or a Leeku PCB. But the Leeku 3000 PCBs are a bit hard to find.

I've never hunted for a G80 ANSI PCB but I know I bought the last Leeku 3000 PCB I've seen on the classifieds. And that was sometime last year. Dorkvader wasn't able to find one.

Edit: I didn't realize that Kin25 was selling Leeku PCBs and plates right now. Apologies.

I very recently ordered a 3000 PCB from kin25 as part of the TX1800 buy. As of 2 weeks ago it was not too late. Might be worth checking with him.

Does anyone know what keyboard this is? All I know is that its a ducky keyboard with white ducky keycaps, but I don't know what the keyboard/keyboard case is.
(Attachment Link)

Apparently it is a "Ducky shine 2 special edition white keycaps on black frame".

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

What kind of resistor do I need to connect an indicator LED to a Teensy?  I tried using the online resistor calculator at ledcalc.com .  The required parameters are Supply Voltage, Voltage Drop Across LED, and Desired LED Current.  I'm using these LEDs and the only thing I can find about them is 3-3.2 Volts which I am guessing is that second parameter, the voltage drop.  I didn't find anything on the Teensy website that resembled a supply voltage.  As far as the desired current, the only thing I've found that might be related is "Luminous Intensity : 2000-4000MCD" on the LED specs.  That online calculator mentions that 20mA works for most LEDs.

I can't find any resources or information about hooking up an indicator light.  Is there an example online somewhere that I can use to see how it should be connected and grounded?

Alps stabs are historically very confusing but modern Alps sets from Matias use a pretty standard setup. From what I understand they are slightly taller than costar stabs but it is apparently possible to produce a plate which will work with both. Mr. Matias furnished a mockup of such a plate in the vendor forum (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=45483.msg1364703.msg#1364703). If you don't want to mess with a custom plate you can feasibly bend your own wire stabs that fit the costar spacing and the Alps cap stab mounts.

Signature Plastics produces Alps caps with cherry stab mounts. This is simplest if you can manage to get a set of SP Alps caps produced, which is currently proving very difficult.

Supply voltage will be 5V, as that's what comes out of USB ports on a computer.

Current is dependent on how bright you want the LED to be -- brighter LEDs have more current flowing through them, up to a limit. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to know for sure how your particular diodes will react to different amounts of current.

There's a wiring diagram on the led calculator that shows up after you enter all the relevant information, although it uses a battery. You want current to run from one of the digital output pins on your teensy, through the resistor (which can be hooked up in either direction), through the LED (which can only be hooked up in one direction), then to a ground pin on the teensy.

Take a look at this graphic, it might help

For Stab lube which Tamiya lube should I be using?

GP-383 flouropolymer grease? the OP-439 antiwear grease? Or something else?

Also on the off chance that someone knows, where can I get krytox or RO-59 here in Japan?

I use CERA GREASE HG but I don't know whether this is better or not.
If you are in Japan SHIMANO and other bike companies may be another big sources of lub. I think they have various chemicals for cycles. I had used a their top brand DURA ACE cup grease for my stabs :D

This company is supplier of RO-59 in Japan and you can buy 260ml small bottle of it from them.

I think I'll use the Tamiya lube for the stabs since I have a hobby shop near by that has a good selection of greases

Not sure of the price, probably better to try the price check thread...I'm not sure how the OP feels about price checks in here.
