Mechanical keyboards in China
« on: Sun, 10 March 2013, 21:49:33 »
What keyboards see exclusive distribution in China that would be worthwhile to acquire?

I will be in China for some time and will be exploring the large electronics markets in Shenzhen. I've read a few threads here concerning availability (Taobao vs. kiosk shops) and pricing, and have searched around the internet (ripster has some decent info).

I am also interested in seeing if vintage Cherry G80 boards can be found.

There are a ton of vintage boards on TB.  Many are priced way more than they should be, but if you're looking for something specific it might be worth a try.

At many of the computer cities they have the computer recycling shops that have piles of KB's, mouses, monitors, etc.  But you never know what works and what doesn't.
I'm back.
