At that point CC knew that rarar was planning to just auction the Friday, so offered him 2 other clacks instead so that someone who actually wanted the Friday could get it.
Did Rarar already pay for the "friday" and then CC was the "first" to go back on his word and offer a swap?
If that's the case.. I'd say CC was in the wrong.. he can't tell RARAR what to do with the cap that he's already bought..
What i'm saying is, WHO was it that first changed the agreement upon completion of payment.
From what Allesandro wrote, it seems CC was the one who pushed aside the "free market" that the rest of you seem to covet as the true determinant of "value'

ClickClack, after knowing that rarar was going to auction it off [citation needed] gave rarar a deal. rarar was on the lookout for 2 CCs: a Blue and a White skull see his sale thread for details. ClickClack offered to give rarar those 2 clacks if rarar gave up his claim to the Mr. Friday so someone else could have it. No extra money, just a 2:1 trade. rarar tried to negotiate further (My best guess is for more Clacks), so ClickClack closed negotiations, took the Mr. Friday, and gave it to the person who wanted it for free, not giving rarar anything except his money back.
ClickClack wasn't telling rarar what to do. He was giving rarar an option that would give rarar what he wanted, but couldn't necessarily have.
TL;DR: ClickClack changed the agreement first with a presumably fair trade, but rarar was greedy, and ended up with a refund alongside no Clacks.
Hmm.... I don't disagree that Rarar was greedy, but they entered into "renegotiation" so after that "fails" Clack is still responsible for holding up the Original agreement which was Mr. Friday for the price already paid..
CC may not have directly "--told--" Rarar what to do, but that's "exactly" what he's "--done--"..
Because as soon as the money transfers hands.. that means Rarar owns that key, doesn't matter who has the physical object at the time..
CC is still the one who first breached the original agreement... Unless there was a specific clause some where stating that the CC cannot be sold... was there such clause PRIOR to the money changing hands..?
Point is, if Rarar took this to small claims court, he would win.
at the very least, I think CC should still give a Mr.friday key to rarar... how hard is it to make 2 keys.. and he probably has at least 2 of them..
So what CC did do, is out of "emotional-response" decided to not hold up to the original bargain..
I only see CC at fault for the deal..
Now.. does that make the emotional response so wrong? was Rarar somewhat responsible for himself not getting the key... HARD TO SAY..
but CC broke the first rule business wise.
