Well Duckys are all plate mounted so plate float sounds more likely.
I've heard someone mentioned that there was a rumour that Ducky and Costar didn't get along before so most likely that Ducky will never be using Costar stabilizers ever. Then again I have no way to confirm that.
But at the moment Ducky sounds like your best bet. Maybe wait for Ducky Shine III?
You know, because I'm not the guy who's been on and on and on about ODM/OEM for the past you know, year or so or whatever. Obviously blah blah etcetera.
TEX is the original designer of the PCB, controller code and chassis. The designer has actually posted here on GH and also here. (Translated link here.) TL;DR - the same person worked on Poker and PURE. Manufacturing is performed by a third party because tooling and setup is prohibitively expensive, but that does not mean TEX is not the ODM. They are.
I raise my drink to you sir. I'd rather look stupid and learn, than hide in the shadows of ignorance.
Well I'm just kinda annoyed that somehow,
nobody else bothered to look up and link
this thread here where Justin from TEX stopped by to fill us in on all the details himself. (He's the guy who designed the keyboard, yes.) Especially with how excited everyone was about this particular board.
To elaborate; I think it's somewhat disrespectful to the vendors who do come by to share their neat new stuff with us, and then turn around and promptly forget about it. Then get all excited when the same keyboard gets 'announced' by a rebranding house, completely forgetting that we actually got the scoop from the designer months ago.
