x-post. NerD TKL with non-glare dark grey case and purplish blue side LEDs.Show ImageShow ImageShow Image
damn thats a great looking board
I like the color scheme that is going on with the board
Awesome! The case color is really nice and it goes so well with the side LED choice
That's dark grey w purplish blue?? I thought it was black w blue LEDs . Do you have any more pics of the board, perhaps in a more neutral/everyday light? I'm thinking of ordering parts for my own Gon board soon and trying to decide on colors.Gorgeous board!

Yeah unfortunately the LEDs always come out as blue in my photos. They actually look like a soft purple with some blue to them. And the dark grey does look like dark grey, but my pics are pretty dark. I don't have any sunlight photos of the bare board right now, but here are some previous photos that should give a better idea of the dark grey. Just a note that GON told me that dark grey was discontinued and that mine was the last one in that color.http://i.imgur.com/dW6CpJC.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/G78V2mb.jpgAnyways, thanks guys for the kind comments! GON's boards are truly beautiful.
take two pics! One with something purely white in it to white balance the pic off of. It may fix it
I'd really like a GON 60% keyboard in an aluminum case (with no LEDs). What all do I need to buy from GONs if I just want to put this in a compatible PokerX case (I really like the TEX cases)? Do I need a plate? I know I need the PCB, do I need diodes? Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the extra pictures! I still think it looks black:) Can't wait to get mine ordered!
Naasfu, half the reason I ordered a GON is the pictures I see of yours. Awesome board.

Oh boy, trade me that GID for listerine! You won't even know the difference!
Just got my order today. More pictures to come once I get some proper ones.
Let me know if you guys want more. These were just some random ones I picked from the lot. Show ImageShow ImageShow Image

Got my mobik kit yesterday, bluetooth/usb combo, mx blues, 62g springs and red stickers, purple/purplish pink leds/smd leds, hence the crappy colors, purple are not a color liked by dslrs (in switch leds are a work in progress though)Show ImageShow ImageShow Image
Does someone can point to the exact place to mount a led at the front of a Nerd60?
Quote from: ideus on Fri, 27 March 2015, 17:25:20Does someone can point to the exact place to mount a led at the front of a Nerd60?What are you referring to ideus, side LEDs? Im confused what exactly your question is tbh, could you give some more details on what you meant pls?
I am referring to side LEDs. I am not sure if there are locations for front LEDs though; however, based on the pictures posted recently for a 40% with a front one, I wonder if the Nerd60 has a location for a LED at the front.

However I couldn't find a pic of the bottom of the Nerd60 PCB atm to confirm that it does.Didn't you just receive yours ideus, did you post pics by any chance? For the tkl version there is a pictures of the bottom on GONs website and you can see the soldering spots for Side LEDs going all the way around.
I will try to find the spots myself; if I do not find them, I will post some pictures for you to help me with it.
Thank you very much for the pictures. Problem is I just ordered resistors for LEDs inside the switches, and the side ones take less ohms. Eitherway.
