Yeah unfortunately the LEDs always come out as blue in my photos.  They actually look like a soft purple with some blue to them.  And the dark grey does look like dark grey, but my pics are pretty dark. :)

I don't have any sunlight photos of the bare board right now, but here are some previous photos that should give a better idea of the dark grey.  Just a note that GON told me that dark grey was discontinued and that mine was the last one in that color.

ah thanks man, i will try that out next time i take photos. :)  hopefully it does the trick, since all my purple things end up looking like blue.

haha, it's pretty dark, and i guess it looks close to a matte black in low lighting.  anyways, i picked grey to serve as a neutral color so that i could use the board with both light and dark colored caps.  i love the looks of bright colored boards, but then i would be mostly stuck with keycaps that matched that color.

looking forward to seeing what you get!  it'll take a few months though...!   :p

Yeah my bottom row is 1.25-1.25-6.25-1.25-1.25-1.25.  I wanted a third key on the bottom to act as the second function layer key. So my bottom row is fn, alt, space bar, alt, fn2, ctrl.

Thanks! Yeah i think i'm the first one to receive one.
I'm going to go ahead and admit that i'm really surprised with how these photo's turned out because i literally just took it out to the brightest room and quickly snapped a couple photo's.

Beautiful, just beautiful..... I wish the acrylic case had the NerD engraving on it.

kind of a bummer that this case doesn't allow for switch opening but it makes sense too since it's a "floating switch" design so it'd probably be visible even with the caps on and slightly ugly. At the same time he also took the care to get the switch notches done so i guess that's the tradeoff.

So jealous you guys got your orders already! Apparently the top plate color I ordered for my acrylic case wasn't in stock, so have to wait another week for stock and manufacturing ;(

Got my mobik kit yesterday, bluetooth/usb combo, mx blues, 62g springs and red stickers, purple/purplish pink leds/smd leds, hence the crappy colors, purple are not a color liked by dslrs :D (in switch leds are a work in progress though)

I am referring to side LEDs. I am not sure if there are locations for front LEDs though; however, based on the pictures posted recently for a 40% with a front one, I wonder if the Nerd60 has a location for a LED at the front.

GONs website does mention Side LED support for the Nerd60 PCB so I would guess it support Side LEDs all around like the tkl PCB for example.  :)

Didn't you just receive yours ideus, did you post pics by any chance?

got to soldering the rest of the in switch leds and bottom smd leds, i was to eager to assembly/scared of ruining the board to start with soldering the top pcb smd leds (first real solder project, ever.) but i think this will do just fine :P
i'm not a fan of the dsa keycaps though, will probably change those for some ducky/dcs-profile.

I just found some pictures from seedvd's Nerd60 Build Log which shows pictures of the PCB bottom.

It doesn't seem to be a V2.0 PCB but I quickly marked the Side LED spots incase it might help you out ideus! :)





It would be pretty awesome if you could share some pics of your PCB tho since I haven't seen many of the V2 PCB!

The Side LED spots should also be marked on the PCB so you can always refer to GONs tutorial on soldering Side LEDs as well!

you can basically go buy the resistors in your local electric shop. Gon has recommendations on the site.
