The dental floss company probably went to the mango company and said, hey, can you breed mangos that get stuck in people's teeth more, we'll split the floss money with you.  This is a Conspiracy of the HIGHEST ORDER!!!

I think that the stringy crap is an evolutionary defense mechanism.

It definitely reduces the amount of mango that I eat.

I grew up in East Tennessee, where Mountain Dew was a very small local niche product in the 1950s-1960s.

They ran occasional radio advertisements with the tag line at the end - a very "hillbilly" sounding voice saying "They's a thang in ever' bottle!" that we, as kids, thought was completely hilarious.

It wasn't even intended as a soda/soft drink. Mountain Dew was developed as a whiskey mixer. Weird how capitalism works.

It also tastes terrible with whisky. Also whisky in general taste terrible. Also 100% of alcohol in general tastes bad.

It is acquired taste for sure, but I really enjoy sipping a good bourbon or brandy.

Mixing good liquor with soft drinks for the sake of getting drunk is blasphemy.

Good alchohol doesn't taste like alchohol. That's why good vodka doesn't have a taste and a mild to no burn.

If it's so good, why is the benchmark to not taste like what it is?

Good whiskey doesn't taste like alcohol it contains. The forward facing notes should be spice/peaty/etc depending on the mash, etc. Any taste in vodka is impurities (tannins) in the distillation process and is a sign of inferior quality. Most people cannot justify the cost of good liquor. That being said, if alcohol was undiscovered until 2020 and put to market in 2024 it would be straight up banned, but culture has allowed this problematic liquid to thrive in our society. Without alcohol we may not be around as people due to not understanding how to purify water.

I am a dark (stout/porter) beer drinker when I have a drink, but due to personal issues I don't drink more than 1 or two in a sitting. I genuinely enjoy the bitterness/complexity of dark beer, but don't like being drunk. There are better mind altering substances than alcohol. I have moved onto getting my tasty drinks in the form of Alt-Sodas like Poppi or Olipop

This box o' mini spring rolls, supposed to come with FOUR packs of ginger-sweet-sour-dip.

Only got 3 in the box...

How is Tp4 supposed to eat all 72 spring rolls w/out the proper amount of dip. Now Tp4 has to severely Ration dat ginger.  Freaking, it's made in corea, clearly they've let quality control slide.

Damn amazon peanuts sale, problem is you have to load up around 15lbs to get all the right coupons.

Peanuts are 50% fats, so if you eat this, you will gain roughly 5-7Lbs of flab.

This is a disease.

This morning Tp4 was using the deadblow hammer in order to move the TV exactly 2mm to the right into the exact center of the riser board. He then used the same hammer to move the riser 6mm to the left to the exact center of the room. Finally he turned the riser exactly 0.17 degrees to account for the slight bowing of the back wall.

Ugh... something's wrong.  Maybe it's not lower back, might be internal damage, possibly hernia or the diaphram.

Ok so, I get on the train, and like 2 stops later this person who looks to be in his thirties, who looks really mentally ill (probably on drugs) very erradic movements gets on. Takes 2 stops to start to get into a screaming match with like two teenage girls (I think he was sexually harassing them). He gets kicked by one of them and they like intimidate him like try to get him to leave. At this point I've got off and left to another carriage cause I don't want to see any more of this or a potential violent altercation (also he was like shaking his arms near his pockets so I was not sure if he had a weapon or something). Like a stop later the guy gets on the carriage bleeding from the mouth they probably broke his nose and there is blood on his hoodie cause he got bashed by those girls.

The parts that bothers me the most though is that this happened just before the school day ended and that he went for seconds and obviously got his **** kicked in, like why are you pulling this **** in the middle of the day. It's so ridiculous that you thought you were gonna win that after you got intimidated by these girls too.

Doesn't help the stereotype of "interesting characters" that the line I was on have.

OMG, frostpunk is sooooo sad..  First game, evry'1's dying cuz Tp4 didn't build out in the right order.  He didn't know people needed food.

Is it good? I always wanted to try it.

It's really good. You can feel the chill in your bones.

Ate 2 many oreos, can't sleep. sigh. You keep telling yourself, NO MORE OREOS ever again, never again.

But they keep pulling you back in. That dark allure. Made in mexico, from what's very likely highly contaminated waste water.

NO MORE OREOS

We have discussed this before. I strictly limit myself to 6 (six) Oreos per setting, and go weeks or months between buying a package of them.
We don’t have a conservative movement anymore. We have an infotainment complex aimed at pushing merch to morons.

It's also Costco Fohat, Tp4 can't just stop going to Costco, and they put the Oreos in a very provocative area.

12 sleeve packs of Oreo are irresponsible purchases.

Humanity is a realllll pos.

There are only 114,000,000 refugees all together, in about a dozen big groupings.  And apparently with 195 minus (a dozen) countries, we couldn't accommodate what's factually only a modest number of fellow humans.
