I bought a cheap Bluetooth keyboard on Dealextreme (with the purpose of gutting it down and make a Bluetooth 60% mechanical keyboard) and it doesn't work on my computer. Oddly, it does work on my cell phone.
There is something called the Nulaxy Bluetooth and I have one, generally pretty cheap and I can confirm it works with keyboards

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Why? Because old people start losing their hearing and eye sight as they get older. Dementia, Alzheimer's and many other illnesses start hitting them.

No, I get that.  But did you read the rest of my post?  Why not just re-test everyone?  Then it's not an "old person thing" that they would complain about.

Also driving is something that improves with experience. When you first pass your test your a worse driver than you would be 5 years later.
But there is an age when this stops being true and this is when you should be re-tested.

Ban the console from psn, wouldn't they just ban the account? I didn't know Sony had the technology in the Vita to ban the whole system from PSN, can they even do that with PS4's?

Yeah they can all you really need is the system ID which you can't change mostly they will be banned accounts but they can ban the system, just more worried I doubt anything will be wrong with the system, just hope my partner was wrong when he said it didn't includ the game :x

On a related note - people who stop WAY too close behind you at stoplights, especially those ****ing xenon light SUV drivers.

More traffic annoyance: On highway, I merge into passing lane on the exitway, however, there's another lane merging in from the expressway. Of course, there are two dumbasses who don't realize that their lane is ending. Let the first guy in, brake super hard already, the second guy tries to squeeze in ahead of me, but that would entail me completely stopping dead on a freeway in passing lane - not happening, so I zoom past him. Second guy honks at me like I'm some ******* for not stopping completely on a goddamn freeway.

Same day, I'm getting off on exit ramp. Wife beater wearing inbred trash is in a rent-a-BMW and starts to edge in my lane without even signalling. I brake, he doesn't move, at all, so I'm like... okay, I'll just move past you as he's not in my lane yet anyway. Drive past him, he almost sideswipes me cause he's not checking blindspot now, I squeeze past luckily. He honks and his teenage bride gives me the finger in the rearview. I suppose I should apologize to him for not making way for his incredible need to cut across 3 lanes on an exit ramp from a busy major highway.

Sometimes, just sometimes, I think of supporting the euthanizing of bad drivers.

Nah, it was fairly low speed in rush hour traffic. The kid had no business going the speed he was though. Was probably on his ****ing phone not paying attention.

I'll need a new bumper, trunk, maybe rear quarter panels, and a ****ing detail to get all the damn coffee stains out. It so bad the officer looks at my shirt and says "nice coffee stains". Salt in the goddamn wounds.

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I've only driven for 2 years and I think I must've encountered more idiots than I have in the other 15 years of my life.

The really annoying thought is that these drivers often go through life thinking they are perfectly fine - good drivers, even - and many of them will go through life totally unpunished for this.

Of the great many injustices in this world, this is among the top-tier. [/poetic hyperbole that is still sort of true]

i would argue that people smart enough to use the internet and engage and complain about these bad drivers are actually fairly competent drivers.

I have to imagine getting into car accidents is their punishment. Luckily for you, there is the chance of death so I wouldn't totally say unpunished.

I think my point is that there are many bad drivers who do not get into accidents by sheer luck. Bad drivers =/= accidents. It can also mean uncourteous, aggressive drivers who do not get into accidents because other drivers aren't crazy enough to get in their way and avoid them entirely. I know some people like this.

And I wouldn't wish death on bad drivers... just license revocation.

And what if they're complaining about these bad drivers while they're driving?

Wouldn't that make them bad drivers themselves?

Sadly, they're just as likely, if not more so, to kill others rather than themselves.

Now this is hard,
Define what's make a "bad driver", is it the way you break not soft enough? I mean like if you don't give way to elderly crossing that's not a bad driver, that's a ****  :))

I'm well aware of being a bad driver, there's a reason I had been in multiples accidents.

BUT AT LEAST I USE MY BLINKERS !

people that don't deserve to be killed.

I have to imagine getting into car accidents is their punishment. Luckily for you, there is the chance of death so I wouldn't totally say unpunished.

Sadly, they're just as likely, if not more so, to kill others rather than themselves.

least your car still works
my baby 2ltr focus was written off by a lorry driver turning into me while I was doing 50mph. Insurance wouldn't cover a replacement so I'm forced to down grade... though on the plus side if it wasn't for the central reservation I would have been killed, most likely!

No,
People who don't fix their broken brake lights is the one who deserve to be killed
and some people here survive with just one of the two lights,

That is definitely something that bothers the **** outta me about car insurance: replacement cost calculations. Liability should cover the full cost to replace a car, now what I could sell it for.

I think my point is that there are many bad drivers who do not get into accidents by sheer luck. Bad drivers =/= accidents. It can also mean uncourteous, aggressive drivers who do not get into accidents because other drivers aren't crazy enough to get in their way and avoid them entirely.

Teaching my teenage kids to drive makes me become very reflective and philosophical. Although I am a relatively fast and mildly aggressive driver, I am also very skilled and keep my attention sharply focused on everything and everyone around me (and this is surely the most critical component).

As they say, if you are good at something you make it look easy, even if it is not.

I constantly remind them that they have to be acutely aware of the fact that while most drivers are at least moderately competent, about 2% of drivers are insane idiots who are not paying attention to the road, and you never know which car(s) that might suddenly, unexpectedly, turn out to be.

They treat this as some sort of joke, or "oh, Daddy, it's not that bad" but I know that I am right.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

Getting on a motorbike will make you learn it the hard way, lots of drivers are imbeciles.

On the flipside, I notice a lot of bad habits my dad has while driving - I actually learned a lot about driving by observing what he did wrong.

I am not anywhere near being a superb driver. But I am confident that I do the little things that keep me safe and those who drive around me at minimal risk of getting in accidents.

I think the main thing I would teach my kids, if I ever have them, is to leave as much space as possible between you and the car in front without going below the speed limit, and if someone's tailgating you for going too slow, just change out of the lane. As well, maintain a stagger/escape route whenever possible - this is huge. Quite a few times I've had a driver brake way too hard in front of me and I was able to quickly change out of the lane because I knew that there was nothing in my blind spot.

This is huge.  Being aware of your surroundings is so critical.
