spent 3 days trying to get rid of it, mass malwarebytes scans and deleting of suspicious files.

deleted and reinstalled all my browsers and continued scanning...

For anyone actually following what I have been putting in this thread over the last few days everything is sorted with the parcel in Germany was redelivred yay GLS ended up going back to where it was relieved and collected it and took it to the correct house yay everything is sorted.

But now I already have a case open with Royal Mail and I just sent all the evidence into them so I now need to wait till they get back to me to say no everything is sorted.

We hatched a plan to pick him out from under the radiator with one of those grabber tools and then clasp him between two badminton rackets (the designated 'pest removal tools' - my dad uses them to hit bats out of the air, for example) to transport him back outside (which we realize may be futile, but it would make us feel better).

He was pulled out successfully, but unfortunately when my sister placed him on the racket she forgot to hold him until I could sandwich him between the two rackets, so he started to run away. I tried to trap him, but hit only the trap and missed him, and he got away, running under the china cabinet. Drat! We lost him.
