Spoken like a true terminally single man.

If you you've never been with women I can understand your jealousy here, but I am not here to convince some faceless moron behind some keyboard about my fortunate circumstance.

When you find that person you will know what life can truly be, besides wasting all your time here on GH go out there and find that person to connect with, if you can't then that would be your loss pal.

So enjoy........ :p .

Elrick,  how could you be so sure.. that you are fortunate..

All circumstances are relative..

More and more,  pair relationships are becoming less relevant in the modern world.

I'm so happy that I didn't throw away some nasty rubber domes a while agoóonly disassembled them and recycled the plastic cases. Now I can make some use of the AT cables, i.e. solder them to other keyboards.

my colleagues are lovely. they don't mind when i cause a little earthquake.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I don't really know what makes me happy any more, which is kind of depressing in it's own right.

I guess, socialising with friends while playing games or whatever or maybe getting new and exciting products to play with or money.

Recently:

- The fact that I can use some skills from a hobby of mine (photography) at work.
- Driving in a brand new car (my rental has 4000 miles on it, I never drove a car that was so close to brand new before)
- Knowing I can afford another car because of my job
- National Ice Cream day was yesterday, I had two servings of ice cream instead of one :D

Aww yeah.

I've been loving exercise lately, getting ready for the start of the grid iron season so I've been training 4-5 days a week. It's great, I've got clinical depression but since starting this routine my moods have improved greatly.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I hope doing an epic poop at work time isn't grounds for immediate dismissal in Murica.

Funny if it was :))

I am not in Murica :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But thatís incorrect. Itís in HHKBís slogan, but when Americaís cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

My parents aren't divorced. This makes me very happy. My family is insanely close knit and I feel like most people can't say that anymore.

You're lucky.

My mom divorced my dad when I was six, and now, 14 years later, she's divorcing my stepdad.

Oh right, this is a happy thread.

The happiness of others makes me "less miserable", which is kinda like happiness... isn't it?

Today:

- I found a car I really like and will probably buy it.
- A friend bought me coffee and a cinnamon bun for breakfast.
- Not having to type on a rubber dome keyboard. (I suffered for about 3 weeks with them at work :()

It makes me happy that we've decided to look for a house! It makes me a little sad that we have to wait until our current lease is up before purchasing.

The happiness will fade.....I am so sick of looking at houses and making offers and not being able to finalize a deal...

On-topic, I'm quite happy that typing on my ghetto ergo keyboard is getting fluent, and I got a PVC ErgoDox in the mail today.
