It wasn't ever seniority as to why you "got treated different"

You act like the immature teenager you are and got treated as such.  Your magical experiment just proved that if *you* don't act like an ass, you won't be treated as one.

Also, congrats on being the second IP ban since you can't stay away without it.

Mods.. Unban --linkbane--...   it's archaic..   these are not criminals...  some members are brash, that's just the nature of young internet users, and young people in general..

No amount of banning will make the entire age group any more docile..

By banning, you are creating segregation that produces no real benefit,   and completely undermines the the GH population growth because, guess what.. OLD dudes like you and I are just going to Die off 1 after another.. It is the YOUNG people that will have to take up the mantle..

So, I,  Tp4 of house Ramen, Gate-watchmen of Ergodoxi beseech thee to amend thy policy.

Why is this in the keyboard section?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm thinking my next board will be a Leopold fc660m with MX clears?

any thoughts on this?

i have a filco with browns and i love it, but i got a v60 with mx greens and i love it more and i think i like the heavy switches.

so i wonder if its worth it. i'm not unsatisfied with browns, and i imagine i will continue to use my filco because i sometimes just want a lighter board than my mx green. but sometimes im on my mx green board and i want a quite tactile experience yet i still crave the heaviness.

Im wondering if anyone has any experience with this board and could make a recommendation.
i had my eye on the massdrop version awhile ago, champagne case and grey PBT caps. it was very hard not to pull the trigger on that!

Based on what you want from a keyboard, it sounds like if anything will get the job done its clears.

There seem to be a few good deals popping up from time to time.

Mostly.  Watch the shipping though, and read the comments.  Depending on what you're looking at sometimes the prices aren't that much better than retail.  They're pretty good at sourcing Asian keyboard stuff.

They sometimes face delays with suppliers like you would expect from any group buy but I've bought quite a few things from them and never had a problem.

Shipping is pretty good to get things to Australia.

And prices are definitely competitive with what I can find in, say, US stores.

i had some baileys today. the cream smell is too strong. i think it's the artificial flavour.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

i had some baileys today. the cream smell is too strong. i think it's the artificial flavour.

I'd forgotten Baileys, I quite liked it.  Now you've got me wanting more :))

Baileys is quite quite good .. but if you really think about it.. is it realllllly that different vs adding vodka to thick cream coffee...

But I prefer black coffee.

I drink black as well, because cream gives me an energy rush.. and I prefer to be more placated during the day.
