Is it cool..  YES..

but when was the last time you really wanted m0re from your thermalstat..

So...  I'd definitely file this under,  Impulse buy, Didn't need, Frivolous..


Yes the novelty is there for a few days..   but for most people,  thermostat is set and forget.. 

really consider what $200 will give you in OTHER gizmos that you would actually use WAY more often .

Thanks. Do you know approximately how much it saves?  Like 5% or like 25%?

I've also been looking at the Ecobee, but I don't understand how it works and there's not as much info out there as there is for the Nest.
