So my son..
« on: Tue, 10 March 2015, 11:39:56 »
Amy decided to go check out some thrift stores this past weekend.. our son (we call him Bowser) decided he wanted to go to the 'treasure store' too.  I gave him $5 so he could pick out something with his 'own money' and then I got to sit back and game for a while.  When they came home Amy shows me this picture and the story behind it.

He picked out these sunglasses and a mini light-brite and wore the sunglasses as they wen't around to other stores.  After they got to the next thrift store he goes mommy these sunglasses don't protect my eyes very well, but they sure make me look cool.

One day I hope to grow up to be as cool as my son, lol

Cool shades.

Kids are adorable, no? The other day my 5 year old was concerned that I wouldn't know how to find a birthday party. She told me that I should "Turn on the GPS, because that will bring me to my destiny." Hard to argue with that logic.

Ah yes, they are never tired, of course. Being tired is like kryptonite for kids. Of course, as a result they then turn into kryptonite for me.

It really has to do with the fact that their power to weight ratio is much higher..

They've also got -new- equipment..

Vs Old people like us..

That's why they're never tired..

Kids know that time is precious. They want to do everything all the time, and they know if they are asleep, they can't play.

Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?
