WASD V2 barebones vs Filco MT2?

Hi all,  I wanted to get your thoughts on these two boards.  I'm down to final decision time basically, and ready to but need a little nudge perhaps.

I'm going to get blue switches,  and honestly have been leaning towards WASD as id like to pick up some caps from geek keys or else where.  I dont want backlit, do want TKL, and this will be my first mech.

If you know you want customization, the WASD lets you do that right off the bat. I'm biased towards the Filco (have had a tkl filco with blues for three years, still my favorite board). What I will say is a major difference between the boards is the lights (caps lock, scroll lock) on the Filco, but these are absent from the WASD tkl. If you don't want any lights at all, i'd go for the WASD. my personal opinion lies with the filco though

Thanks.  Im trying to find info on keysets.  Given WASD can customize the whole set, how do they compare to PBT keys from geekkeys.com?  I was looking at those and an 87 key barebones.

WASD boards aren't that bad.  There keycaps, however are not the greatest.  If you have plans to replace the caps, I would only look into their barebone options.  With that said, I would buy a Filco MJ2.  They are built like a tank, and I regret getting rid of mine.  They do come with ABS caps though.  The nice thing about buying a Filco, is that if you decide to sell it down the road, you will have the stock keycaps to put back on it, and sell with the board.  You will have a tougher time doing that with the WASD, unless you sell your custom keyset with it.

Thanks again everyone for the replies.  I haven't yet pulled the trigger, as the MX blues are out of stock at WASD until end of month.  I'm still leaning towards the WASD V2 barebones and getting a PBT set like the PBT blanks over at pimpmykeyboard or elsewhere (massdrop maybe). 

I ordered the sampler from WASD and I really like the MX Blues with a single o-ring installed but not thrilled with the keycaps.  I also like that the WASD has no lights, no logos/lettering, modular USB cable, the switch options for Win/Mac, and DVORAk.

EDIT:  I looked at the G20 eSport blanks as well.  They do look nice, but as far as touch/feel for typing goes, seem.... odd.

There's nothing "magical"  about pbt..

abs works fine..

Rubber dome is also fine.
