Crossing my fingers for gameplay videos. Maybe a good Rainbow Six mike make me get into the franchise again.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

When I first read about this, this is exactly what I thought it would do with working with the xbox one.

It makes no sense except to feel like you have a big screen tv without having one.

All I can think of is all the unnecessary input lag that would be introduced and the video quality being translated.

Is it? I don't even know how much the oculus is.

What's the cost?

it's $250 these days for a 40" flat screen.. 1080p

No way you'll get an oculus cheaper than that..

And even with those cellphone converter headsets,  you still need a pretty top end cellphone to support the 3d stuff..

I always thought the Oculus was just a fashion accessory. After demoing it for a few hours, I can say that it is a big step for immersion. I actually felt like I was trapped in a maze with monsters running after me despite being aware that I was just sitting at work with a thing on my head.

OK. I go against what I've said before. I'm going to get Fallout 4. The building part is what convinced me :)

November 10th 2015. Let's do this.

Oh, and Fallout Shelter on iPhone too  :thumb:

You can build structures in Fallout 4! Fallout 4: The Sims - so happy :)

Gameplay vid as well.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Without the hi res hi refresh rate display it's just fashion.
with a 4k display it can replace my monitors.

Muahahaha!! What's the point of that? I really think the MS Holo thing is useless, will never use it in a real-life scenario. Oculus, however is AWESOME for good driving simulators like Project Cars or Asetto Corsa.

FALLOUT 4!!! That's my next game purchase right there...

DOOM
DOOM, it looks pretty ****ing great, but the enemy design looks pretty terrible and the lack of some rocking metal music is a huge let down. While it looks awesome and fun, it's difficult to discern the difference between this and Quake, those daemons could just as easily be Strog (bar the Revenant). Though the classic door sounds are nice.

I hope that in the coming year, they sort out the music and tweak the enemy design to make it more DOOM and less Quake.

The original Doom was like Evil Dead:Army of Darkness - In Space. The makers of Doom 3, Doom 4 or the "Doom" movie didn't seem to have understood that.

Microsoft's press conference was better than expected. New controller looks good but there's no way in hell that that piece of plastic is worth $150.
I was disappointed with Halo 5 as expected. Halo 4 left a bad taste in my mouth so I have some trust issues with 343i.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst looks awesome!
I'm so glad that they finally gave us a release date.

+1 DOOM

I like how they have brought back the door sounds from the original.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Honestly other than Fallout 4 and Metal Gear Solid V, nothing has me hella hyped. Doom looks great but dosnt really have that something special, door sounds or no door sounds. Both Sony and Microsoft had good shows but, hella meh.

Metal Gear Solid introduced it with one of the best bosses ever, Psycho Mantis. The idea was the elaborated on in MGS2 with Vamp, MGS3 with The Sorrow and in MGS4 as the BB Core. It's always been a part of the franchise, though for sure not to the extent that's in MGSV. That said the whole story and plot of MGSV is Big Bosses fall from 'grace' and him loosing his ****.

Cup Head continues to show well, though I'm worried that the game is just boss battles, super crazy hard boss battles with no checkpoints...

By the sounds of it there will be a PC version, so looking forward to trying it out at least... I hope
