The good part is, as mentioned, experiencing fairly mild weather atm.

Perhaps you're referring to regional Victoria, as opposed to metro Melbourne?

Regional Victoria has had some pretty wild weather!

Cairns, the weather is perfect. Not to hot to need an air conditioner and not to cold to require pants and a jumper. Just right.

Ah, but the humidity?

Has not been heavy humidity since maybe March-April

Makes a change, eh? :)

I grew up in Adelaide, where it always seemed to be very dry.  Moved to Melbourne and it was much more humid.  Then we had a drought down here for about 10 years and even water restrictions   So the humidity kinda reduced a bit, which I prefer.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Yeah humidity sucks, i lived in Darwin for about 3 years and literally wanted to kill myself because of the humidity.

It started a couple of months after CC went AWOL.

Then it was summer holidays for the northern hemisphere (probably).

Now Pokemon Go is getting all the pasty-faced nerds out into the Real World and away from their keyboards.

Even Bro's sale didn't reignite things as much as anticipated.

And he said it was a small sale, limited stock, so you'd think there would be even more people unsuccessful.

Or maybe just more and more people who joined GH just to win Bros, which would be sad.

I think more so has to do with the discussion that happens in slack. (I know we talk about this all the time)

But a bro sale is going to be thoroughly talked about in the slack for a couple days, leaving is 'unnecessary' to talk about again in the GH thread.

Forums aren't designed for conversation compared to Slack :-[

I noticed that the subforums are outdated and could be updated, but I can't see that happening as its hard to put each of them in categories.

I'm trying to get use to/like slack.

But like I've said before.  Most times when I go read through the comments and find something I'd like to reply to it's like 80, 100, 200+ comments old.

I don't have time to stay on there and read all the comments as they come in.

Maybe I'll get more use to it eventually.
