Why won't Squeenix do what they did with the new Dragon Quest rerelease, but with Chrono Trigger?

Winter break is a perfect time to dive into story-driven games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, especially if you enjoy exploration and puzzles. I usually balance longer sessions with lighter games in between, just to avoid burnout. For quick breaks, I sometimes play match 3 games online, they’re easy to jump into and surprisingly relaxing before getting back to a bigger title... ;)

Not exactly a puzzle game but you might be interested in is second stellar. It's based off of a Terraria mod and it's somewhat story based. It's in the early stages so I would not recommend getting it until its done in 2026 or 2027 but I came from their Terraria mod so I trust they will make an excellent game (also no you don't need to play the Terraria mod even if it does give you a little more context ahead of time surrounding the story).

It's current five dollars and I was more than happy to do so since terraria mods (unless its fraud) are free on the steam workshop. That being said you do need to really like Vampire Survivors type game-play for this one to stick.

If you don't know if you like Vampire Survivors type games, play Holocure on itch as its completely free on itch and its extremely well made.
