We have quite a few Fox at work. The miners always feed them yet I can recognize a lot of them based on their color and coat and even tho they are often fed, I always see them running down the mine roads with rabbits and partridge in their mouths so it's comforting to know that they are still more than capable of fending for themselves. They absolutely do not fear humans and I've even pet one but even after years of being fed and interacting with humans, any sudden movements get them spooked. Nature is beautiful. It's one of the perks of working nightshift in a heavily forested area. I get to (often) see fox, rabbit, partridge, bears, moose, coyote, wolf, lynx, owls etc. Of all the animals I see, wolves and coyotes are the rarest followed by the lynx. There has even been sightings of a cougar believe it or not. I haven't been lucky enough to spot it myself but multiple co-workers have. Very hard to get pictures on my phone but here are a few.
