That's Kurplop's custom ergonomic travel board. It's got Matias switches in it.

Damn, I would like to know how easy/nice it is to use the trackball with this kind of layout/positioning. Seems nice to use with no mouse. Great work from him anyway!

If I could sum up my experience at KeyCon in one photo:

This is a photo of me playing a text based adventure game that required me to interact with a computer inside the game, and you can see the stream in the background on the computer in the distance.

What a blast.

And just think - back in the day a VT220 was one of the best screens we had!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I didn't even know that. I spent all my time looking at keyboards and talking to people with nametags.

There was just too much keycon and too little time.

b'sides, she could totally make an account here. Keyboards are the best amirite?

I believe she has an account? I remember seeing a username on her and Smasher's dad's name tags.

Nope. Just something random for the nametag. I think Ron came up with it.
