I'm actually looking forward to doing my PC build so that I can actually play FPS again seriously (coming from PS4). Particularly Doom 2016.
DOOM was fun, much more than I thought it was going to be.
Also; I'd try out Fallout 4 if you haven't, it's really really good on PC.
Can confirm, DOOM is great. Highly recommended for any FPS fans.
Fallout 4 is also quite fun, so long as you don't mind dealing with the settlement managing. It can get to be a little bit more annoying than it should be. But it is still quite interesting and comes with it's own Pro's and Con's.
I am really looking forward to
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Anyone who has played the original Mount & Blade Action RPG will know exactly what I am talking about. For everyone else... Go check out
Mount & Blade: Warband. Warband game may be years old, but the gameplay is very good, and you have almost complete control over the outcome of the game. To the point where you can travel around as a nomad selling and trading, or be a mercenary that helps different countries, or even join a country and fight for other lands and places. Combat is more realistic than most other Action RPG games in the sense that the speed you are moving directly affects the damage you can deal. For example, using a spear while charging on a horse will deal extreme damage. While casually prodding a soldier at 2 mph will deal little to no damage. So there is a fair amount of skill and technique involved with each battle/encounter.
