Still a Sys Admin at an MSP, but if I get my VCP cert by the end of the quarter i'll get a 5k a year raise.

I just bought the book for vSphere 6.7 so I'm hoping enough reading of that will prepare me for the test by the end of the quarter, on top of my current knowledge of vSphere / VCSA / ESXi 6.7 / etc.

I upgraded our entire office and data center infrastructure with just the knowledge I gained by having my own VMWare environment, so reading the book should get me prepared for the test enough to take it and pass by the end of September...

System Admin for Xrite/Pantone.

Fun to see Pantones use and influence in a hobby like this. Helps me feel more connected to my work.

I had imagined Pantone's office would just have colorimetry equipment all over the place, and everyone has super duper color correct monitors ?

You would be surprised haha. The Xrite office(where I work) has a lot of equipment etc because this is our primary production facility, but color correction is not the primary concern of most employees hahaha.

I run flux on mine and get some weird looks and negative reactions every couple of days

What was that set recently that there was a big huff about color inaccuracy on final caps vs. renders. And the whole “I had someone come and calibrate my monitor” bit.
