One can see why this mount is terribly designed, the mounting positions pitch the NON-screw tab side upwards causing non-contact. (the corner where the green-Nub is now)

The Zip ties bring the corner back down.

Little packet says zipties rated up to 85 C, should be gud'

SSD only gets to ~70 C tops in laptop wurkloads.

Another option would be to spend $10 on another heatspreader and Solder down the rear mounting bracket, The bracket below the ssd is loose and mobile, it needs to be soldered if using a heatsink other than the stock heatspreader

I think I have the same laptop as you and it is a literal heater with temperatures beyond room temp in Celsius

Yea, that's normal, processors have transistors, which dissipate heat like resistors,   Resistors is like a brakes of a car, except for electricity, and if you put current through it,  the brakes get hot.
