put it in a warm area.. not HOT area, too close to the radiator might warp the plastic.

I would take it apart, use an air blower to blow some of the water out, separate the plastic parts from the electronics, then stick the electronic parts in an oven at a low temperature, like maybe 120F.

Also if I had something like 3M Novec, I'd use it to displace the water and it would be dry in no time

Unplug it wait for a few days and plug it back in again

You could remove the keycaps and wash it already, and wait for the soaked board to dry.

I haven't experienced spilling any liquid on my mkb; try not to eat/drink in front of your PC

Dried a laptop's keyboard using an hair dryer once and put it too close to the keyboard. Most of the keys suddenly started melting... Had to buy a replacement keyboard (thankfully it was surprisingly cheap and easy to find). Good memories ; )

Flipped one upside down and put in on top of a radiator heater on low. Was more of a precaution though, just a few big drips got on it. How long you leave it there depends on how much water you got on it... if I knocked a full glass of water directly on the keyboard I would wait at least a week. Even longer without a direct heat source.

if it got "into" the switch.. it might take a month to dry.. luckily the switch doesn't really care if there's a little water in it..

Funny to see how Asians' staple food is the rice which is also seen everywhere else as a ways of drying some poor soaked (in water or a mix containting water) electronic component up. It is also a poor man's way of drying things.

If I were to put my water logged keyboard in a bag full of flour - would that attract Caucasians to fix my board instead? 

Jokes aside, silica gel is the best thing to soak up moisture. Also putting the exposed electronic component in an airtight container would further be ideal as that would prevent any rust growing on the electronic. Getting a large enough bag of silica gel is often hard let alone being able to afford for a large bag full of it in the first place.
