I think its pleasant when a female that smells good walks by me. On the other hand, I think its highly unpleasant when a male who hasn't bathed in three days passes by me in our lab.

this happens quite often in LABs.

I love it when girls smell like vanilla. It's my favorite scent.

That's why I like strip clubs. Vanilla and bad decisions in the air.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

It pays off to carry a signature scent and affects people on an unconscious level. I would highly recommend finding something relatively uncommon and sticking with it. Don't go with something everyone wears like Aqua Di Gio, or cheap and childish like Axe. Find something that can stand out subtly and you will have staying power, so to speak.

The most powerful people on the planet all wear signature scents for a reason.

How about pickled garlic mushrooms? I mean...it would at least be unique.

You're kidding but you would be surprised the scents people mix in their stuff. A lot of cologne has a pungent spice scent. Not my thing but bigg ups to the guys who can carry it off. Remember, you wear the cologne, don't let the cologne wear you.

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I use a different deodorant all the time.  When one runs out, I just grab whatever the next one happens to be.

There is a chocolate one too, but that smells kinda off.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Antiperspirants are bad because they block your pores so your skin cannot exude the toxins present in sweat.

I live in the tropics and I need anti perspirant else I will smell really bad. I guess other parts of my skin and excrete the toxins instead of the one under the armpits.
