I mean.. Even I, the Great TP4 failed writing 101 freshmen year, because I didn't go to class and spent my entire time running around the different freshmen dorms having sex with girls..


But what I witnessed the SEcond time I took that (required) class , was that the majority of people coming into college can't write for crackers..

Writing cohesively at length is not a new problem, it's a difficult skill to learn - that's why they make comp 101 a required class for everyone.

I try to stick to this as well! ^ I'd rather be quiet than wrong. 

Also, I think attention spans are getting shorter because of the internet/cell phones. People are becoming accustomed to instant gratification and quick information. This makes me feel like no one will read or react to my thoughts unless they are reduced to 4 second gifs. Sometimes it seems like conversations are just a battle to see who can come up with the shortest & wittiest comeback and since I am neither concise or witty, I stick with silence!

That being said, I actually talk more here than most places though... Just giving my 2 cents
