I'm only on season 1,  but there seems to be alot of DIY in this sport..


Is the DIY portion not sub-optimal ?? Wouldn't it be much more effective to go Earn-more-money, and just purchase better equipment along with hiring professional builders?

I am a prepper too  I have some good wine in house and if/when the whatever comes I will make sure that I will be in the first line together with my wife. I don't want to survive any doomsday ****, humans are not a good company when things go tits up.
So if a comet/asteroid comes I will just wait in the best place to get hit and drink a glass of good wine. Have also backup plans for other types of scenarios. **** prepping! Live your life, every day like it's the best day of your life!

Wellll.. yea.. but you need some concrete reinforcement to protect them good wine .. hahahahahah

Yeah doomsday prepping is a bit extreme, but in saying that if you live in an area that gets cyclones it is probably a good idea to get a generator and stock food over the season. But this is common sense not prepping.

Best episode in Doomsday Preppers, at least I think it was preppers is when the guys ****ing around with guns  and accidentally shoots his finger off.

At least that is how I remember it. It may have not been actually shot off, either way I had a giggle.

I feel like..  marauder groups is going to be the big problem..


Can't realistically defend a suburban home from them, because of the distance issue..



This won't happen initially,   but eventually, as the general population all die out,  the surviving marauders would've had time to become quite organized and large in number..


You can't really stop more than 8-10 people without alot of clear distance to shoot at them..


If you live in suburbia,  gonna die for sure..



And suburban homes are just not armored against ANYTHING..

you can get through regular houses with peashooters.

I think the only dangerous one is EMP..  and Massive magma plume under Yellowstone (overdue xplosion)

Without electrical grid, things can go bad real fast...



All the other stuff like,  Financial collapse, tornado, flooding,   is pretty ridiculous...


Financial collapses are fixed with the flip of a switch, AKA print more money..

Tornados and Floods are mostly localized..

I have personally laid eyes on at least 5 anuses attached, at least in part, to women.
