Anyone Struggling With RA? (Rheumatoid Arthritis)
« on: Wed, 07 June 2017, 22:26:42 »
Just curious if anyone has had to struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis in their hands?

I'm fairly confident I'm experiencing the first stages of RA in my right hand. My middle three fingers have very painful joints and my hand is very stiff first thing in the morning. I just noticed it is also hot to the touch, that is seriously freaking me out.

If it gets much worse I'm going to the doctor for it.

I've had knee issues for a few years now but figured that was OA or either my cartilage thinning out to nothing. (That runs in the family.)

Sorry to hear about your pain. My family has a lot of RA running through it. Most of my aunts and uncles lived into their nineties but were so racked with pain from RA that I think most would have been glad to die in their fifties. Since it is the body's reaction to sensing that the joints are foreign matter, the body's defense mechanism attacks the joints. I normally don't suggest people running to the doctors with every little symptom but timing is critical to slow or stop the progression.

They do blood tests that quickly determine if your arthritis is rheumatoid. Then you will either have the peace of mind that it is not or, alternatively, be able to get the proper treatment.

I wish you the best.

Unfortunately,  this is a foundation where the meat industry has certainly influenced.

They list  FISH / Milk and extra OILS  among their top recommended foods for arthritis..

And in their few vegan articles, they downplay the effectiveness of a vegan diet.. and continue to arbitrarily recommend eggs and oil consumption in the same article.

This is a known meat industry obfuscation tactic..

Oil in excess of 10% of total calories causes damage to the endothelial layer of ones' blood vessels..

Even if you take a LESS saturated oil,  it still has 5 to 15%  saturated fat..   Which would clog arteries all the same as fats from meat consumption.

If you eat animal PROTEIN,  be it fish or eggs,  then that causes the body to enter an inflammatory state for up to 5 hours per meal..

So, if a person eats approximately every 5 hours,  he is spending the entire day under bodily duress..

All this ontop of the fact that animal protein consumption greatly increasing the rate of cancer cell growth..
